The one option I didn't see you show is the classic shoulder speaker-mic setup, which will also allow you to run 3.5mm to 3.5mm out to any standard civilian style ear pro with a headphone jack. Works great with any of the cheaper Peltors (sport 500, etc), which are all compatible with Peltor Comtac style ARCA helmet mounting.
Never understood the thought process when people are willing to drop hundreds of bucks on radio accessories (comms headsets, PTTs, fancy antennas, etc), yet they haven't spent more than $30 on the actual radio itself. To me it's like putting a $1000 optic on an airsoft gun.
