I find all the members of the Eternal Glory podcast explain their decisions fairly well, but I agree that Bryant does an excellent job explaining. Bryant's ability to find the line, then explain it as he executes is top notch.
Totally agree. And I know, Bryant plays storm for years and years, but the way he finds the lines is insane. Great content! Oh and I like how professional the whole TES franchise is managed with merge, sponsoring and so on.

Why he scoops always makes sense, but because I don't have experience in combo decks (I am a filthy RDW, Burn, and ponza loyalist who likes to play a Johnny on PT), whenever I see someone else scoop with what looks like a win as far as I am concern but no explanation it just annoys me, but once I discuss the game with a pilot the decision makes sense... It would have been nice to know at the moment, which makes this channel the best at mtg gameplay.
Hey Bryant! How do you feel about dominance in Rogsi? Another necro can be cracked but I feel the replacement affect kinda lowers the ceiling what do you think? I saw Zain already updated his list to run it lol
This is at the start of the video after the deck tech. I was thinking it was going to be a more traditional necro list where you draw a lot, discard, win next turn but ok we're going with necrologia but way better since it costs BBB instead of 3BB not to mention borne upon a wind/leyline is way better than removing spirit guides, manamorphose, mystical tutor, quicken tendrils. The one issue with this that I see right off the bat is drawing tendrils can really mess up the combo potentially, but that shouldn't be a big deal it is a 1 of. A 2nd copy could be warranted and also allows a different sort of style of deck where you may win by resolving necro and doing multiple minitendrils to win since it fuels necro like they did way back with corrupt and drain life. That's an entirely different beast compared to this list though and IDK how viable it would be in 2024 legacy. Beseech package is good, can still go the normal loop lethal tendrils setup without necro since it works if there is no leyline of the void or whatever else like faerie macabre. Beseech also can grab necro if you know they have these things or suspect them to have these things so it's well worth. Funnily enough beseech can sack necro too once you're done with it so it's a nice benefit. 2 colors seems proper for this. Veil is great, we love veil, don't necessarily need it and it doesn't hurt the manabase that much to splash it if need be and maybe carpet is better in a necro deck compared to other storm decks if you're going for the untap route as it helps fix for the BBB and works on followup necro turns if you aren't drawing deep with necro and trying to win that turn.
I think some of the feedback here is a little off. None of the lists people are working on have two tendrils, you can always brainstorm it back in most situations. Value necros won’t really work in Storm combo, but maybe in a deck like doomsday.
I'd love to see you try "spell book" like card to change your max hand size after you cast necro. I think if necro finds a home in legacy, it will be in a mono black deck, maybe value/control with sheoldred/bowmasters/thoughseize/reanimate/troll/chrome mox/dark ritual/grief/reanimate?
20:39 the worst part about vexing bauble is how it’s going to punt cEDH games. Cant wait for it to come in tapped under a blind obedience or oophe and just lock everyone out. 😅
I feel like this combo is going to be neat but maybe a bit inconsistent and having to play extra pieces to allow for instant speed will make it a little bit more awkward than other strategies. But we'll see. Edit: Kinda what I figured. I am impressed that the strategy was able to play through Vexing Bauble in game 2, but I just think the leyline of anticipation package is just too clunky and it made it so that any time the deck had to mulligan, it was just screwed. I think a shell without so many counterspells taking up space would probably end up being more consistent, though this seems like it may be a deck that is good at winning T0 but will fold to a force.
Thoughts after watching. Does it come in playable was nice, well done beating that GW abomination. Scapone's list looked way better in that match, but it's 1 match so drawing conclusions from that alone is not worth it. I wonder if enlightened tutor would ever be playable as necro's 5-8 if we're hellbent on making it all about necro or if that's silly since enlightened tutor in storm hasn't been a thing as far as I know though in a deck like this can grab LED or necro or petal if you really need it. Such a list would maybe be maxing out on cabal ritual to try and setup a turn 2 necro after turn 1 enlightened tutor. Chain of vapor can be used on your own necro so you don't discard to 5 and could also let you discard tendrils to will it back, but that's if you didn't draw will or can brainstorm will back later. I'm excited to see what the 5 color list is about though in the next vid. There's a lot of experimentation possible with necrodominance.

Necrodominance is undeniably powerful, but i dont think it is bannable. Restricted may be its final destination if someone finds the optimal shell for it.
