WEBISODE 7: Front Brakes on My BMX Bike

Front Brakes on a BMX Bike are pretty much unheard of these days. Only a couple pros still use front brakes. I decided to throw some on and try to learn some new tricks. These sessions have been super fun because every trick I do with these front brakes is a new learn. Most tricks in this video are beginner BMX front brake tricks, but I feel like I had gotten a decent amount of tricks learned in the short period I had with the brakes.

I ride front brakes on both my skatepark and flatland bike. they are the bee's knees and i always get asked to try them out lol

front brakes help with nose manuals and if you do barspins. spin the bars with your wheel spinning vs not spinning and you will feel the difference

also not sure what cable you used, but do NOT use a linear cable for the front. use a regular slick cable, less friction. your brakes will work better

Also taking the cable out and hitting it with a thick lube and squirt wd40 in the hole makes them MUCH SMOOTHER.
