FRI 09 - Volver a Verte - Cha Cha

This advanced Cha Cha was choreographed by Sidney. The dancers, Sidney, Asim, Kayla, Ana, Austin, Marina, Julianna, Dhruv, Eric, and Owen are dancing to "Volver a Verte" by Oscar D'León. This performance is by the University Salsa Club's Performance Team, which is a dance group dedicated to performing at both club-specific and external events. While the club was founded in 2006, this is the first year the club has had a performance team. You may recognize this group from last showcase, CultureFest, SalsaFest, or Lighting of the Lawn to name just a few events at which they have performed! The choreography took some inspiration from tango, and you are sure to see some sensual dips and lifts in addition to upbeat and flashy cha cha!
