Hi Kip, point raise re noise cancellation drowning out your own voice is a limitation I've found on all active noise cancelling (ANC) headsets/headphones even the high end ones. The question is is it a compromise you're prepared to make , which for me the answer would be yes. I've just bought these and ANC is great and unlike most ANC headsets/headphones you get 3 settings ( off, 1 and 2) which also worth mentioning.
Great video!! If I adjust the settings of the headset with one computer would the settings stay the same if I connect the headset to another computer? The reason I ask is because my work laptop severely limits what apps we can download, so I would adjust the settings on my personal laptop and then actually use them on my work laptop. Also, do you know if it will work with a Chromebook (since I only saw windows/Apple options on your vid). Thanks so much!!!
The honest answer is - I'm not sure.. I have a feeling the settings would be saved in the software, rather than the headset itself. With regards to Chromebooks - it would connect as a standard bluetooth headset, but wouldn't have the software features. Hope that helps!
It all comes down to software… these newer Bluetooth headphones use cheaper internals because everything is software based now. The 4320 mic is way better and it’s cheaper. Speakers are the same but the Focus 2 are EQ’d more bass oriented for music. Plus the 4320 is USB-C. The look and build quality are far better on the Focus 2, but the software ultimately determines how well it performs. Right now it’s terrible time for Poly (ahh umm HP 🤦♂️) headsets. Bought Savi 7240 Office and worked great until the update (1.4) now no close conversation limiting etc. Nothing for options… I know the headset works, unfortunately software doesn’t and it’s a DECT which is for (RJ9) work

Typically, with Teams type headsets, you’d just push / bend the mic nearer your mouth to get a better voice result…
While on call it switches audio all bluetooth headsets seitches codec to lower quality for bidirectional support
Great 👍 vid kip ❤😊
I have this set and I've done testing of the mic. Mine isn't working properly. Can someone explain what I may be doing incorrectly?
I don’t think there’s much you can actually do wrong! Maybe speak to the manufacturer

@@kiphakes thank you for responding!
@@fimja Of course! Would be very rude if I didn't!
Sorry, but the microphone is kinda crappy. There are better options out there in that price range going by the experts here on UA-cam..
