- Although far from the media spotlight and practically forgotten as a former big music star during the last war, the glory of Roki Vulovic lives on the Internet.
He recalls that the first year of the war was difficult, there was no time for singing. Superiors who were aware of his talent emphasized him to make a songs.He agreed to record but under the condition that all proceeds from sales going to the army of Republic of Srpska, as well as help to families of killed and wounded soldiers.
May this great man have a long life, Mr. Roki Vulovic. Greetings from the other side of the world, Chile! This is the proof that your message has found no borders, love your songs. Yugoslavia might have collapsed and Kosovo taken away, but your legacy will live forever.

This song has such a strong nostalgic feeling to it, I don't know how he manages to transmit such strong emotions but he does, he's not only a hero and a fighter but a legend of music that have made the best songs ever and it's a shame that people had almost forgotten him, I love you Roki, long live to you brother

-Mirko Blagojevic Vojvoda-from city of Bijeljina..his group called Mirko's Chetniks..his small unit was integrated in Republika Srpska Army, they had several wounded and dead in Majevica mountain battles
-Brano Sumar, also from Bijeljina, local patriot and popular guy, killed in action
-Mitar Maksimovic Mando-Vojvoda, from Ugljevik (small town close to Bijeljina) a very good commander and great Serb war hero, led group called Mandini Lavovi with up to 600 fighters, group's casualties are over 50 dead and 180 wounded, popular song about him is Prepelice Prepelice by another popular singer Baja Mali Knindza

We also have Mircea the Elder as we call him in Romania, one of the greatest voyevodes from here, fought against the ottomans for christianity and independence of Wallachia, but much earlier than Mirko, in the 14th and 15th Century, in the Late Crusades.
