- Metallic functionalization of a replica of a bee head and a Merlion made out of cellulose (Fungal-like adhesive materials) using a tin-based chitometallic colloidal suspension. The process, happening at ambient temperature and pressure, covers the path from the digital model to the functional biometallic object.

Wouldn't this be used as a better substitute for thermal paste/pads for CPUs?
The end product is a porous metal, which means its thermal conductivity would be lower compared to a solid piece of the same metal.
@@jgfermart Sure, but wouldn't it be superior to common polymer thermal paste?
Could the material be sintered either by kiln or laser?
Yes, we have successfully sintered the material. This is particularly interesting for the cast and 3D-printed pieces (e.g., ua-cam.com/video/Evu0ffDoinY/v-deo.html ). Although the study mentions this, it wasn’t our primary objective, and thus, it isn’t detailed in the report.
