It looks more like a promotional video with lots of praises when the public wouldn't know the benefits or otherwise until it finally kicks into operation in 2025. If the HK Governemnet or the relevant parties did not pay for this video's production, they perhaps should😅.

just worry they didn't build enough car park there again~ cos the Govt here always think if they do not build car park then people will take public transports; but which is not, everyone still drive and cannot even find the parking space, so crazy here for all those mega projects which cannot even solve this kind of problems!

Besides airport carpark 4, I don’t think you can find a major building in HK with sufficient lots for parking, especially in city areas.

@@bagtea sure they do, it’s a matter of choices. You can even put these things on top of buildings these days. But Hong Kong, like many cities in Asia, needs to focus on quality of life issues and creating a distributed system of amenities would help. It’s not a particularly healthy place to live. You can hike in natural areas or go to the planned sports hub, but it takes time to get there and inertia sets in so people don’t. When living spaces are small, amenities can help make up for whatever is lost in terms of private space.

@@bagtea The reason for Nepalese settlement in HK is because the Nepalese Gurkha brigade of the British Army were deployed to serve the territory during British Colonial times. So it was the Nepalese Gurkhas who safe guarded HK from the outer forces and illegal immigrants under the British Government.

@@maximusdeep HK government has reputations for building infrastructures without good planning for transportation. Our Kai Tak cruise terminal is a great example billion spend but when cruise boats parking there is no public transportation. The closes example is HK Football stadium when 20,000 exit from Rugby sevens. It is crazy to try to get out. For a 50,000 stadium I have been to Europe and US or Wimbledon. These countries have lots of experience with large events. A good stadium planning makes differences for public after the events as all leave at the same time. I was in Qatar for World Cup and Germany for European Cup these are cities with less people and a lot more space. I am worried for our government not budgeted enough. HK need a lot more than simply more buses and trains. Directing crowds to different MTR lines whether by walking or buses is a start. But I don't see in the plan there is a direct tunnel access for a new subway line build for this project.

HK is short of living spaces for ordinary and senior citizens. Instead of building up condos for its own poor people. Living in what is called CAGE HOMES.
It builds high value sports complex for business and show to the world that it is a rich state but poor people..
