Only when it happens to you, it's when you come here to learn about. I got an airline ticket through MyTrip only to have the flight canceled by the airlline in which case I was entitled to a full refund as per the airline policy. However, MyTrip disregarded this policy and charged me instead penalties fee and reimbursed the differences months later. My recomendations is to ALWAYS buy an airline ticket directly from the airline but book hotels through agencies because you don't need to pay upfront and you have from 24-48 hours to cancel the reservation.
Got scammed by these guys. Even with the "Prime" membership they auto signed my up for, there is NO support at all. even though their site says 24/7 round the clock chat support.
I did a booking using MYTRIP but I did an error about my daughter name ... The customer care told me that I will receive my boarding pass from 24h/6h before departure .... I don't know what to do , hope it's true.... I also paid the correction
I used Kiwi to book a transatlantic flight to but the following day I had to cancel. Air Canada offered me a full refund but Kiwi would not give me the refund offering some ridiculous compensation like €60 or something. I'm never booking with them again.
@ you misunterstood me. Air Canada couldn’t give me my money back because the booking has had been made by KIWI and they owned it. AND THIS WAS THE VERY NEXT DAY BEHIND YOU WHEN THEY WERE OBLIGED BY LAW TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK since it was an Internet transaction.
Why use an online agency if they can’t protect you in case of a wrong reservation or a typo during the booking process? After my bad experience, I recommend using a traditional travel agency instead of a self-service online platform, where you are fully responsible for any mistakes, even those made in good faith.
Couldn't relate more about the pricing issue. Sneaky ways to get you to book tickets from their site. Once u start booking, u never find anything close to the initial cheapest price.
Yes. I totally agree with u on smart fares. Or SKYSCANNER! Total bs. Booked my shit last time for a round trip (Chicago-Bangkok) 6 wks in advance. 2 wks later called them for the airline comf # instead of their comf #. Kept telling me some bs how they’re still waiting for the Airline to send it to them. Called them every wk as the trip got nearer. They kept giving me the same excuse then goes and tell me the prices went up so I have to pay more now. Told them “fck y’all give me my refund back.” In the end had to rebook a last min flight out for $2,300 through United smh*
I don't understand what the deal is with Skyscanner. I'm a semi regular flyer, and not once has Skyscanner ever given me the cheapest flight. People rave about them, but I didn't know their service was so bad. Sorry to hear about your experience.
@@uhmerrykan I have never had a problem with Skyscanner and most times it is cheaper than the actual airline. I don't understand everyone's bitch about them.
I like Skyscanner’s feature to see what days or months are cheaper to travel. Also, you don’t book directly from Skyscanner. It shows you prices from other sites to buy tickets from whether they are third party or the direct airlines’s site.
My family just bought 3 tickets from Best Airfares when they told me I told them they might have been scammed. First low prices. Yes, it was $1300+ for a trip of 3 people there and back on American Airlines. It just didn't seem realistic. Second, confirmation codes. if you have ever booked a flight, you know there are no numbers in those codes, plus they were always different numbers. And Third, my family made a mistake on the address, so I called their customer service. It sounded exactly like those scam call centers on those UA-cam videos. Indian voice, people in the background, and just obnoxious waiting times. There and then, I told them that I wanted to cancel the trip, and they just chuckled. I hung up the phone and told my mother we should probably cancel her credit card. We are going to do that tomorrow. It's around seven, everything is closed.
I read a couple of reviews on the internet, they are 100% saying it's a scam, bait and switch, and no refunds. Absolutely don't go through Best Airfares, just do it on the official Airlines website/apps.
Ahh, sorry to hear that but hopefully this helps and my upcoming videos you for future travel plans. Good luck and I hope you're able to get your refund!

@@MrWonka2000 Google Flights has the same features to search for cheapest days and months to fly in. No scamming there.
I mean regular airlines do their own scamming, but it's not really that serious to mention
