Good video. I have been collecting lanterns for 25 years. You give good information, and you have some nice lanterns as well. The OK hotblast is one of my personal favorites.
There is only 6 or 7 years between the invention of the hot blast hurricane lantern and the cold blast lantern. No idea if Great Britain bought a massive supply of the hot blast lanterns but any war film made during 1939 to 45 only features hot blast lanterns.
Nice collection there. I’ve got a few antique railway and hurricane lanterns myself. We usually use them during power outage for lantern lit MRE dinners. 🤪fun times 2x
