    What does usd asset mean? and where do we use it?

      USD was developed by Pixar ( Universal Scene Description) very User frednly accross a lot of DCC applications that support it and most of them do , in once assets you can save in all the renders , like Arnold , Renderman ,Vray etc in to one asset , so other studio dont need te reshade the assest and such and this is becoming the standard now , so one artist can create a assets creat al the shaders from every render engine and export that out to other studios or other departments in the studio :)
