I completely understand why he loves Soobin!! I can see why, Soob’s a powerful dancer however he is also so smooth. I can’t describe it in better detail but its like water flowing in powerful currents. The members also said that Soobin is a powerful dancer. He’s so goodnn
TXT is so good at creating pictures(?) or images! Yes that’s the word, they create beautiful images of what they want to convey. The fact that they do that with only five members is impressive. The role of each member made even more important as one member amiss may convey a different message. Additionally, they have a storyline to convey. So detailed choreography is a must for them! I think their long limbs is advantageous because of this.
They really made it for themselves, they’re all tall yet they danced so well
It's nice to get to know the face behind such an iconic choreography like Run Away. I love the song, but I love it even more when they're performing the dance!
TXT are really so good. Runaway is one of the best Kpop songs I ever heard.
So the guy at 6:11 is Sunwoo! He’s definitely one of my favorite dancers for the exact reason that was said; his layback attitude in dance without having it to affect the shapes and cleanness of the choreo. Like every time he’s doing it, he’s just doing it ya know. I would LOVE if you guys could take a deeper dive in him as a dancer, because I feel like a lot of people are missing out on how good he is!
I think the fact that he's the main rapper and knows how to ride the beat is one of his biggest strengths as a dancer!

Run Away when preferring to its korean title is actually inspired by Harry Potter so the wand is one of my favorite touch to the choreography. And Run Away is the song that really got me into txt, it was such an iconic comeback. We (moas) call it the Queen 👑
I think they need to explore more about The Boyz, they have grown too much

my fav dancer from the boyz is Q ! and txt is yeonjun. Both group are my fav 4th gen boy group. i love their concept on each comeback, they gave us different and uniqueness

Great video! THE BOYZ are my ult! Best dancers! Juyeon is my ult bias! Sunwoo, who was pointed out, has become an even more amazing dancer. I’m obsessed with his tiktok dances. Runaway is the song and choreography that made me a fan of TXT and Soobin was my bias.

txt's thing is like theatrics and the fact that they can pull it off with ease with only the 5 of them bc they're all incredible performers like runaway was in their EARLY days yet they already had the basics down and like yeonjun is the best dancer according to his members like he has the most experience and like knowledge about dance i guess he's good with many styles but i just think that's simplifying it too much even if he's my bias it's so subjective they all have their own distinctive dance styles as well as moving as a unit now and what you said about soobin's dancing style is something i only realized fairly recently especially since they covered DNA like the part where he's center in the prechorus doing jimin's part his footwork and just how he moved was insane bc it looks like he's just going with the flow like you said i know next to nothing about dancing but i understand this perfectly it's so cool !!
Run Away is actually Harry Potter inspired. It's Korean title was Platform 9 and 3/4. Also, the Run Away choreography was so iconic and amazing!

I love how both the choreographies really varied in style. Runaway was more calming and soft and fit the theme very well while In & out was sharp and upbeat. Great work Devon and I hope you choreograph for TXT and The Boyz in the future. MOAs and THE B look forward to it!

I could see Devin choreographing for Seventeen hands down, the agility, texture and also them being a larger group means theres a lot of combinations of illusions/transitions/formations to play with. And I think they'd be able to match his energy/vibe really well.
JUYEON is also my favourite dancer in THE BOYZ

omg you guys just reacted to my two fav groups!!
ohhh kinda wish you delve more into the boyz because their choreography goes really hard, especially reveal onwards! i recommend "maverick" and "roar" especially, but also "thrill-ing" and/or "whisper" for more fun vibes (still go incredibly hard, tho). for some context, tbz is a group that has really influenced 4th gen performances in the sense of stage dancing (see: the boyz absolutely destroying it in mnet's shows road to kingdom & kingdom, giving way to a new wave of performances planning in kpop). their creative director is mihawk, who i think you might be familiar with?
their dance line is mainly composed of q, juyeon (main dancers; juyeon has a lot of technique and q is more flowy, imo), eric, sunwoo, jacob and hyunjae. eric is the heavy hitter kind, i think, whereas sunwoo has that relaxed vibe going on. hyunjae is very techinal and overall what i'd call a pragmatic dancer, and jacob is for me the cleanest of the bunch!
There's no way both Run Away and Right Here have the same choreographer coz no lie I absolutely love both songs' dance. Insane to know about this!

I wish choreographers would always think long term (I mean looooooong term). There’s people who come to class in their 80’s/90’s & there’s a reason they can still do every one of those push up’s (not the cheater ones). And yes the kick boxing stuff too but without the jump.
