New Hay Equipment in Action! Thank You Norden Mfg - Kuhns! USA Made

Kuhns (now Norden) Manufacturing 510F hay grabber and the AF10 hay accumulator -- These two pieces of equipment should make our lives easier! It is not easy getting to help with haying so we invested in two pieces of AMERICAN MADE equipment from Kuhns Mfg. The accumulator lays the hay down in cubes of 10 and then the grabber picks them up and places them on the trailer. No more stacking bales in the hot sun on a moving trailer. That's awesome Brian, I spent many a summer day chucking bales onto wagons. Of course it seemed like I was always in the mow stacking too. Luckily we had a great brook to jump into at the end of the day.

We've now baled over 1K bales with it and it seems to be money well spent. No sweating today! We don't have a brook to jump into but I bet it was great! Thanks for watching.

I have a grapple accumulator system also.
BUT it still is a slow process.
With the bale baskets when your done baling all the hay is out of the field.

We've only had it for one season. We have found it more efficient. Thank you for the comment though so if someone else is considering buying equipment, they might look into the bale basket option. B

Just bought the same accumulator and grapple that you have. Cool thing is I have a New Holland 311 baler like yours. Is the baler wagon tongue a problem? Mine is to the side of the bale chamber. Norden said their hitch lines it up. BTW mine is coming next month.

Thanks for the comment Joel. We are very happy with our purchases last year and I hope you will be also. I didn't realize until the accumulator arrived that the baler wagon tongue was going to be a problem. I went out and bought the right size pipe and made an offset hitch. I guess you can buy one from Nordens, or if you have the equipment make one like I did. I would be interested in hearing how the delivery and set up goes for you. Thanks.

Check out the youtuber chronicles of a farmers wife they have been using the kuhns system for many years they put up 30,000 bales a year and ,love it

Thanks for he comment. We are just small potatoes in the haying business , and those videos make it seem like we wasted our money on expensive equipment but it turns out to be such a labor saving device. Thanks keep watching.
