I am happy thay you realize the difference in their voice. The 1st chorus is sung by Eunha and Yuju. And then in 2nd chorus, at 4:55 they switched , Yuju then Eunha. Yuju is the one hitting the triple high note. And Eunha is the one in the center hitting high note at 7:00. And Gfriend brings very anime feeling ❤️❤️❤️

Thank u so much for reacting to gfriend again 💜😭 Gfriend are one of the most talented girlgroups from their extremely synchronized choreography to their beautiful vocals and they’re the sweetest and funniest girls 🥺 The girl doing the night note in the first chorus is Yuju the main vocal whose considered one of the top 3 vocalists of the 3rd generation of girlgroups but they’re all very talented vocalists and they show that in their songs ^^. Also yall should listen to their bsides as well, they have the most beautiful discography ever and yes a lot of people comment on how their songs are very anime-like and just beautiful 🥰; some recommendations of their bsides are: Rainbow, Hear the Wing Sing, Gone with the Wind and You are Not Alone. Also don’t forget to text to their most recent comeback Fever, that has a VERY different vibe from their previous comebacks (more upbeat and more of a tropical summer beat) but it’s very good nonetheless ^^. Btw Gfriend follow a storyline through their music videos and this mv specifically is about how one of the members is dead (dies in a previous mv) and the members are only able to see her again as a ghost at night (hence the title “time for the moon night) that’s why the members seem sad during the day and even one of them visits the member’s grave, but then they meet the member during night 😢. This is a beautiful song. And it's about Sewol ferry disaster in Korea in 2014. More than 300 ppl die and most of them are highschool students. I always feel emotional when listening to this song. Here some informations about Time for The Moon Night!
-First of all, it won *Best Music Video Award of 2018*
-There's a really interesting theory behind the song, as the other songs of Gfriend:
In Time for the Moon Night, Eunha (the girl who sang at the beginning) was planning on her suicide. After her death, the other girls were really upset and sad.
Every girl did something to remind Eunha like Yuju (the girl who sang the highnote with red hair in the MV), visited Eunha’s grave. And then, there are a lot of connections of their old songs. The point is that Eunha is not alive and she is in the "spirit world" but still can see her friends.
SinB (the pink haired girl) at the end of the song came back to visit Eunha’s house, where maybe Eunha suicided and discovered a way to stay with Eunha.
So SinB with the other girls can meet Eunha only when the Moon comes out. Maybe the song is called "Time for the Moon Night" 'cause the other members can meet Eunha only in the night, when they sleep... In their dreams.
IN SUNRISE they find a new way to meet Eunha.
Yeah that's really sad...
Actually the real theory is more complicated but I don't want to make it any longer LOL

yes thats 2 diff vocals in the chorus, first one is yuju (main vocal) and the 2nd chorus eunha (lead vocal, also she did the last high note in sunrise). yuju is also the one that hit the high note (most of their title tracks have high notes you should that out). [their b-sides are a hit too some of them are title track worthy]

And in every Gfriend song there's a mind-blowing high note! A little fact, all of their members can hit high notes, when Yuju -who's usually in charge of the high note- was sick, all the members took her parts, even the high notes!

A guide for you to understand why their mv is related to each other.
So eunha is the missing and rediscovered part of Gfriend. because Eunha was the last member to join Gfriend.
1. All starting in MV Navillera which depicts the youth of the members there we can see that there are only eunha scenes that position the roller skates while the other members are all shoes in front. The butterflies in the navilerra are Eunha. They play together and spend time together.
2. Fitting in the MV Me Gusta tu, they decided to make friends, and everything went well. All members looks happy.
3. MV glass bead here they have dreams to stay together forever. There are lyrics that say even though they don't look break that easily. That explained their relationship.
4. MV Sunny summer they spent the summer together and just like Me gusta tu, but this time it was their last summer seen from a number of parts recorded with old cameras.
5. Mv Rough has started to have a difference in the filter that gets darker, and something is wrong. It was their graduation day where they would split up, they read the letter written by each member to commemorate their time. pay attention to the scene when the snow falls which actually they have their reunion event.
6. Love whisper. In this MV suddenly Yerin directs the phone to Eunha, they meet again on the railroad tracks where they split up while in Mv rough. Eunha sees the ticket because she won't use it, she won't leave. In MV it has lyrics that say don't forget someone from the past. There is a scene where a tree is related to a tree in the me Gusta tu.
7. Fingertip - yerin and eunha are very close but eunha starts jealous of sinB because yerin cares more about sinB, so she tells the other members to kill sinB. like umji who wants to shoot at sinB and sowon who wants to hit her by a car. but all of their efforts failed SinB was still alive, finally Sinb went to shoot eunha but Yerin protected her because she was surprised she had fallen from the rooftop.
8. Summer rain. The members looked gloomy and sad, they also filmed in different places. Sowon who used to write letters like in Rough this time can't do it anymore, Umji remembers Eunha in the playground when they spend time together, others read letters and diaries to reminisce but they can't go back and probably eunha is hospitalized and has a coma
8. TFTM. the members had grown up, but they still hadn't forgotten eunha. There is a yuju scene holding a flower and going up the hill. There is also umji who throws paper airplanes like Eunha in the MV rough, we can even see the injured legs, maybe she plays roller skates until she falls to remember their memories at Mv navilerra. And finally Eunha realized she couldn't return to the members. There is a scene where Eunha doesn't respond at all.
8. Sunrise. describing the condition of eunha who was sick, she also wore a patient's shirt at mv tftm. there are lyrics of umji that say you don't move at all and the part of the sun will appear after I see you. so here eunha is the moon and sowon is the sun. we can see sowon replacing eunha position in TFTM. And the last scene only sowon who didn't turn back on the camera, because she still loves eunha also the other members too, like SinB who crying and when they performed sunrise for the first time at the award show there they give a signal that Eunha had died with a heartbeat background from moving until there was only a straight line.
These are just a few of the opinions that I made.

fun fact! Yuju (the main vocalist who did the high note) was absent in one live stage, and yerin (the lead dancer and sub vocalist) is the one who did her part. Even their sub vocalist can do the hard high notes, all of them r so freaking talented.

GFriend have amazing vocals and instrumental arrangements, and their songs remind to anime intros. But wait till you watch them live, because their dancing is amazing as well! One of the GG with the best choreographies and syncronization. The girl who usually does the highest notes is Yuju (main vocalist), but Eunha (lead vocalist) also hit them in some title tracks. As you noticed, both of them have different color voices (it was nice to see how you could tell the difference in the two choruses hahaha), and the rest have really nice vocals as well. Besides, they are adorable and hilarious, they're such a crackhead group, and so so so talented and hardworking. You can react to other old title tracks like Rough, Love Whisper, Summer Rain, Me gustas tú, NAVILLERA and Memoria (japanese), I'm sure you'll love them. Their debut song is Glass Bead and it's very good too (they were so young hahaha).
