ankle hitch should be put on earlier. splint should be extended longer. straps above and below injury should be put on first. top strap should be more on the ischial strap. should ask patient if feeling any relief once traction is applied. i loved the ending!
Well, you guys work different than NJ, we support the ankle with a strap and create a force traction until device is position, also we do not touch area afected , that will cause more pain to patient. remember DO NOT HARM Got to study mod 5 tomorrow... big test

seager splint. thats the kit we use around here. Haven't had to much time with a Hare unit. Great to see for refresher. Thanks.

Always apply the ankle hitch BEFORE you begin holding traction. This way, you don't have to work the straps around the person's hands.
