Thank you, Gayle, for including us men who sew when you refer to “ladies and gentlemen”. So often, sewing UA-camrs refer to their viewers as “ladies”. A small point, I know, but very much appreciated by me. I love your content and learn so much about my Bernina 770 QE Plus.
Gail. Thank you for taking the time to make this great instructional video. In the old days dealers had had tons of classes with projects - and they were free! I bought all my feet that way and made many friends. Over50 years sewing with Berninas. I am excited to try this presentation. Maybe I will venture out and play more with my 790 and all its stitches. . Also. Thanks for not forgetting the folks that own the older machines! We love them too.
Thank you so much for doing this fabulous educational video. I have had a Bernina for over 10 and never thought of using combination. Now I have so many ideas.💐
❤ thank you for your great work and all the valuable tutorials and classes you are sharing with the Bernina community. I subscribed to your channel a while back and watch every new video as soon as it comes out. When I watch your videos on the machines. It’s like having a one-on-one lesson. I am a handicapped man who lives in Germany. I love to sew and be creative since I was 8 years old. I sewed my first seams on my mother’s Singer treadle machine. With time passing I owned many sewing machines but a few days ago my dream finally came trough and I now own a Bernina 570 QE. What a wonderful machine this is and what a joy to use for me as a disabled sewer. Your UA-cam tutorials and classes are a wealth of information and knowledge, each and every one of them. As the local sewing machine shop in my town doesn’t carry the Bernina brand, I decided to purchase it online, meaning that I didn’t have the opportunity to get a beginner’s instruction. The way you explain the machines and their wonderful features is better and far more valuable for me than I could have ever imagined. So please let me thank you again for the excellent work you do. Greetings from Germany, Larry ❤
@@BERNINAofNaperville😊 I’m looking forward to the next great video 😊 you give so many wonderful decorative ideas 😊 I can’t wait to try them out on my next project. Thank you. 🙏🏼
Thank you Gayle. I have an Artista 200 and I have learned so much about my machine and am trying out things that you are teaching. I also appreciate that even though I do have an older machine you have pointed out time and again that Artista 200 can do alot of the same things the new machines can. I really do enjoy your videos!!!😃
Excellent videos as always. I learn something new each time. I have the 770 QE and did not know about the subdividers. Will need to check them out as I do Christmas cards and decorations with the deco stitches but I count to ensure I stop at the right place. Thanks again!
Just stumbled upon this video accidentally….so happy for that little accident! I’ve had my Bernina 735 for just a year now….Yes I took the black bobbin class, TWICE! I learn much more from UA-cam. I will be watching more of your videos to hopefully learn what my machine can do. I don’t think my machine does much of anything like this tho!
Gail, your little Lola is going to be the best dressed llama in the neighborhood. I forgot about the subdividers on the Bernina machines. I have a 730 Artista, 830 Artista and a 790 Plus. I have another brand of machine that has Radiant stitches so it will be fun trying to recreate some of those type of stitches. Thank you for the handout material.
Great tutorial! Have watched it 3 times and sat at my machine following all the steps. Thank you! It's so helpful to get these deep dive lessons especially with how complex the Bernina machines are. And off topic, you look amazing!
Are there sub dividers on the 990? I don't recall seeing them but then again i don't recall seeing them on my Pro it other Berninas! Crazy huh!? Great video!!
#savemyplant. Just discovered that plants love the sound of my sewing machine, they also try to outshine the colors of threads. So treat them like an attachment to your sewing machine😅

What is the tree type thing that holds your feet? Do you sell them?
We have one left. It’s the BERNINA foot mountain.

Are you using a trackpad to make selections on the Bernina screen? If so is it wireless? Thank you for the video.
No. I am using a simulator on the computer. It’s how’s clearerr that trying to film the machine screen.
