The shed (your entertainment!) looks good. When dealing with weather, all we can do is guess. But the boys look good, and they are why you are fussing with walls. Thanks for sharing your life with alpacas!
Breeding Jamaika 29 July 2024 Alpacas can tell From almost the first moment If they are pregnant. How, I do not know. Does God tell them? How we wish We could tell so, too! Does Jamaika remember Her previous pregnancies That turned out poorly? See how she resists The macho's advances: On her side, then up she jumps; Crias aren't her goal. A true black female Is our goal, but still, Why choose Jamaika? She has great genetics But real problems too; What are we to do?

You are welcome! Since bringing Bruno and Nitos to the group, we have spent more time observing and being with the boys. The herd is settling down.
I like how Nitos and Bruno are still together and don't separate
Their bond is wonderful. We have decided never to separate them.

Alpacas can tell
From almost the first moment
If they are pregnant.
How, I do not know.
Does God tell them? How we wish
We could tell so, too!
Does Jamaika remember
Her previous pregnancies
That turned out poorly?
See how she resists
The macho's advances:
On her side, then up she jumps;
Crias aren't her goal.
A true black female
Is our goal, but still,
Why choose Jamaika?
She has great genetics
But real problems too;
What are we to do?
You capture our dilemma....
Why we have waited 3 years to even attempt to put her with a stallion.
