I contacted the company about the bike and a discount, and my life is about to *dramatically* change because of your channel introducing me to it.
I've been desperate for work since I haven't been able to afford reliable transport for a long time... they heard me out, and offered me a good deal on a used model!!!
After being a shut-in for over 18 years, and reclusively existing solely in my house with not much of that time going outside... I think I'm going to cry. Im going to finally have an opportunity to have a life and be a contributing member of society.
    That's all I've ever wanted.
I'll upload a video when I get the bike, and thank your channel specifically. I'm finally going to be more than a husk inside a room. Im so thankful.

I received my Engw, I mean FW11S 3.0 yesterday and took it for a 36-mile ride today. It still had 3 of 5 bars left riding the great majority on throttle only. Thanks for the $20 discount. I can only compare it to the Lectric xp2. The Wildeway is way more powerful and faster but it doesn't deliver that power as smoothly as the XP2. On the XP2 I can cruise between 7-8 and 12 mph using the throttle and have a very smooth experience, something I almost always do around town and I enjoy the smoothness very much. The WW is very jerky. Any increase in throttle really gives a jolt. Just riding on mildly bumpy roads varies the pressure on the thumb throttle enough to make for involuntary jerky riding.
I wish it had a voltage meter but the battery capacity is great. The brakes seem slightly better than the xp2. The handling is much better than the xp2, especially when I put my dog on the front rack. I had to put him on the rear rack of the xp2.
To sum up the comparison. If you want to go fast and far with great handling choose the Wildeway. If you want a smooth riding experience and don't need to go over 20 miles or so the xp (now 3) is your choice.

@@travisj.1938 I have sort of worked around it. In stock PAS1 tops out at about 17 mph. The manual didn't tell you how to change settings so I emailed the company and they told me how to adjust PAS settings. I set PAS1 to 7mph, 2 to 11mph and 3 to 16mph. This allows me a smooth slow ride, but I have to change the PAS My Lectric xp2 gives full power up to 20mph on any PAS but delivers the power smoothly.

The price, the range, the torque, and the step through... this would seem to be a excellent bike for nearly anyone wanting to try ebiking. Only thing holding it back is the lack of rear suspension and the abysmal suspension seat post, throw a quality one on and this could be a real go to option for easy ebike commuting.

Don’t buy a cheap bike with a rear suspension. These constructions start to creak at some point and thats not that easy to fix, when all the parts are cheap. Only use suspension seatposts. They’re easy to maintain or to switch out.

I opted for a very similar bike in the Romatlink Dolphin. It's a bit more expensive but comes with dual rear suspension and a suspension seat post, and 4 inch wide wheels. Right now they have a special where they include a mirrors and a basket. $915 at the Romatlink store. So far I'm digging it. It has so much range I don't have the time to test. I was out the other day 3.5 hours. I got 38 miles with about 50% pedaling on dirt trails. I leaned on the throttle on the way back since it started raining. I still had one bar left on the display. Too bad it doesn't come with a voltage reading.

      @jdnuhdfdf 3 місяці тому

@@travisj.1938 I got a flat about a month ago and have been procrastinating fixing it because it's on the rear tire. That complicates a flat fix.
It was working fine until the flat but there are some things I don't like:
Don't expect any seller support. I never got the mirrors I was supposed to get. They finally replied after 4 Emails that they were sending the mirrors. I never got them and I gave up trying. I got some decent mirrors on Amazon.
The bike is heavy!!!. Even with the battery removed. Yes, it's foldable, but it is a beast to get loaded into a vehicle.
The bike has a weird geometry where the pedals are low. The pedals will often hit things. The cheap plastic pedals broke but I was able to get a set of aluminum folding pedals on Amazon for $15. I did not bother contacting the vendor because that's just an exercise in frustration.
The bike is not very stable due to the geometry. It has a very long wheel base. You have to be careful not to steer to sharp or you'll topple over.
The top speed on this bike is around 22mph. You might be able to get it to go faster but I would advise against it. The lack of stability can get you into big trouble at higher speeds.
The gearing sucks. I am ghost pedaling at around 15mph in the highest gear. I am thinking of swapping out the front sprocket.
That's it for my gripes, but the lack of support is a big one for a bike you get delivered. If they can't deliver a set of mirrors then imagine if you have a bigger problem.
The biggest things I like about the bike are the range and the cruise control feature. The latter comes in handy when your butt starts to hurt. You can put it on cruise then stand on the models to give your ass a rest.

( I assume 😅 ) I've shared your channel with people I know who are very much into the whole E-bike "scene" (I am leaning towards being a member of the SHARKS personally) 😂 ..probably too young for that "witty " reference. As am I truth be told. 😐 that's what makes me worldly and sophisticated...
😑 yes indeed...and I've been to 17 different countries and know words and stuff from each one. 😄 granted I was usually shooting at the natives or being shot at by the natives. Often at the same time and few of these words I know are for polite company 😁 usually 98% of the natives are asking for our help and protection, food and medical thingies..😰 but 20% want us as well as that lovely 98% to die horrific deaths in slow motion IMAX style 🙄 uhhrmm..well smartie pants you are correct about the mathematical inconsistencies .
🤔 💭 so you carry the 3..👀🤳🏼🧠😰 and devide by 11.61 🕵🏻‍♂️ 👨🏻‍🏫🙏🏼 👩🏼‍🔬 🧙🏼‍♀️ 🧙🏻‍♂️ 😣 😖 🤯 ..😐 huh seems like 15% or so changes their mind daily depending on who's inquiring and a large number of "men" from other countries show up to add their 2 cents.
    😳 kinda like us...
😑 this Devil Dog has lost the plot 😂..
😑 I want to APEAR to be E-bike cool and actually BE.. E-bike cool adjacent...which oddly defying the odds leads me back to the question- metal fender upgrades...available?
    A positive net result ?
The plastic fenders seem to be eagerly embracing destruction via shattering upon the first curb they bump.
I sincerely appreciate your opinion and time.
Despite the length of this missive which could lead one to some inner debate regarding the value I place on your time.
I can only assure you of my sincerity and ask for your understanding of my just awoke from PTSD nightmare and turned to your videos for a place to gain a small amount of mental stability with which to build upon in order to face another day. Comicstorian and Comics explained as well as Robo/Fwoosh and D-Amazing among others who also have been a great help. I apologize for the inconvenience of this lengthy comment..and I hope that you and those you care for are happy, healthy, and safe this new year. Semper Fidelis P.S Please forgive me for any misspellings words that are out of context or poor punctuation. I lost my hand in Afghanistan so now I dictate rather than type and the program is not perfect. It seems to believe that because I'm Italian Amarican that I must have a speech impediment like Rocky 😁

AND SO IT BEGINS! Legislation has been introduced in New Hampshire to classify any ebike THAT GOES OVER 15MPH as a regular motor vehicle and require registration, plates, licensing and insurance. And thats just the beginning. I've been warning about this for a year and YTers like this who post videos encouraging speeding, reckless riding and altering the safety protocols while aimed at teens are partly responsible. Look for similar legislation to be proposed in most other states over the next 12-24 months. A few Jeff Spicolis and 20%ers ruined it for everyone.

It would be nice to get a better approximation of the total range for you, a 200lb rider. Their website claims up to 90 miles in pedal assist mode and 60 miles in pure electric mode on one charge. You went almost 20mi and didn't do any sand riding, pretty much all flat street riding, and according to the voltmeter, you were already down to 50-55% battery? It doesn't sound like you'd get anywhere near the 60mile claim on throttle only..maybe 35-40 on throttle.

      @slickrick4912 Рік тому

All the companies lie unfortunately. General rule of thumb I have seen is that the actual ranges are usually about half of what these companies claim.

This bike looks like a hella deal tbh. I'd probably buy this over my portola, cheaper, faster and way better range. Mech disk brakes only bad thing I can see though perhaps its not very reliable, dunno. FWIW the Amazon reviews are pretty good. I think it comes tax free and free shipping so would appear to be a remarkable deal but maybe I am missing something....

I saw this bike with different names and brands, and different prices. Victrip Titan s, wildeway fw11, ghesheng ... And many more... What's funny is all these brands will disappear on the market after some time and they will come with different names and start selling Chinese bikes. I suggest you buy a branded bike with good history that they sell spare parts. All these Chinese brands you can't find on the market after sometimes.

    • @ahowl7mx

3 inch wide tires are perfect. 4 inch fat tires are all overweight/underpowered. If you chart out all these bikes for weight / top speed. Portola is the best at 59 lbs @ 28mph. This bike doesn't fold well. Zero 4 inch tires rank anywhere close to that ratio.
