Changing the Blade and Shoes on TapeTech FlatBox

Getting some of our older TapeTech FlatBoxes back in tip top shape with some new blades and shoes we picked up from www.all-wall.com/

If you adust your blade frequently you shouldn't need to change the shoes.
Also before installing the new blade I bend it a bit at 2 places so it stays firmer in the brass holder.
The secret for nice flats with a box, change your blade often, don't wait until the adjustment is screwed all the way. I change my blade when get wear to about 50%

I know this is an old thread but how do you get more crown out of your boxes I tried bending the blade some more but I'm not getting enough I got a new set of tapetechs always use someone else's
