I learned 4 new stitches in 1 day thanks to you & your very easy instructions. I seem to be a hands on learner & your videos are Fantastic for someone like me. Thanks again & keep up the good work.
Just came across your channel. Beautiful Rasberry stitch. Can't wait to knit a scarf using this stitch. Please continue to show your videos on knitting and crocheting, if you also crochet. Thanks for sharing.
Seriously I have watched so many knitting videos and have had to rewind 1000 times just to understand because they move so fast and they always use tiny needles and tiny yarn! You are the best I've seen on youtube, love these videos!
+Studio The next step is for me to branch out of scarves and onto patterns..I need to know and understand how to increase, decrease etc...it scares me!..lol
This stitch is very pretty. I thought I would do it as a pillow. I broke my wrist and miss my craft and thought it be easier with needles then a crochet hook. you explain this stitch very well. thank you for show the how to.
I learned how to knit from your knitting for absolute beginners series, and I always go to your videos first because they are SO easy to follow! Thanks for this tutorial!
I think I'm going to do my first knitted blanket in this pretty little stitch using some nice thick yarn. Thanks for this really beginner-friendly tutorial Miss Knit!!
Hey! I'd like to thank you for this super easy tutorial! This vintage style looks really girlish and sweet! I am a total beginner in knitting, only know how to cast on, cast off, purl&knit stitches, but I managed to knit this pattern with np at all! Thanks! love it!
Great video with fantastic easy to follow instructions. As a total newbie, I love to see various patterns and go off and try them. Can't wait to give this one a go.
Love the videos, my twin Aunties used to make new cardigans every other year always one had a pink and one a blue cardigan with panels of Raspberries, they were so amazing :)
Thank you for the video! I made this to a sock so I had to do few changes, for example to the rows 2 and 4. Instead of placing the thread in front, I put it behind. However, because the pattern started appearing to the insides of the sock, I had to turn it inside out so I didn't need to change the instructions too much. :)
Ah had to specifically look for this under your name Other videos just were not doing it for me Thank goodness! Thank you so much! You go at the perfect pace
omg I would love to see a video of how to make a beanie with this pattern but by knitting in the round. It would be awesome to see it from you because you're my favorite person to learn new stitches from!
Me too tbh. Although I think it's doable, from what I understand one has to switch the purl level to knit stitches for the round. So that could get confusing.
Me from hours ago : oh i dont know how to make that stitch and the others videos are super difficult for me Me : go to studio knit Me now : i ve made it eventually yaaai 😄😄😄 Keep on your videos are really helpful as well as the easy to memorize patterns 👍👍👌
Ha, so funny, Danillea! Yes, I was recently engaged when I shot this video and had a lot of fun "low key" showing off the new bling. Love that you caught that!!
All of your knitting videos are so helpful!!!! thank you very much, you are the only one I can understand with all the unhelpful knitting videos out there. I learned the Raspberry, Double Stockinette, 1x1 Rib, and Basket Stitches all from you! thanks again for the videos, I'll send some pics of my work real soon! 😀 :) PS: what knitting needles do you find the easiest to use? I'm having a hard time getting the perfect ones! ;)
Hi, I love your videos, they are practical, easy to understand. I started knitting and I can't wait to knit a sweeter! But it's so difficult to read a pattern sometimes. Could you make a video about it? For eg "Wrong side" and "right side".... Sometimes I ask myself how is it possible to knit the other side and not the side my yarn is! I'm a beginner, so it's difficult... As I like the way you teach, I'd like to ask a video with a pattern that has "WS" and "RS"...
+Etiene Pires What an excellent question!1 I too am beginning to knit - for the 5th time since i was a girl!! - my goal is to make something nice for my mother who is a GODDESS of knitting , crochet, quilting- ( yes it's a surprise!1) Thank you for your videos!!
Thank you so much for sharing your vintage patterns in your great step by step videos. I was just wondering if your instructions would change if they were in a circular round, like would you have to knit the rows 2 and 4?
Great question, Katherine. Yes, the instructions do change if you knit in the round. I haven't tried it on this knit stitch pattern yet. If you give it a try, let us know how you did it!
Thanks for this great video. I love your instructions. I have a question. I think I followed the instructions correctly and I have the raspberries, but there are gaps in-between them. Should I be knitting tighter or am I making a mistake I am not aware of?
One more thing I know that you LOVE LOVE LOVE knitting so why don't you try to crochet you'll like it I know you will and I was also wondering if you could try to make a piece of clothing for a baby??? Please try both ideas I would love it if you did😁😁
hi, I love this pattern looks really nice, love your tutorials, very well explained. this is something I made up with a two different patterns put together, can you try out this pattern with the trinity stitch. wondered how it will look and if possible. seen as the stitch is a multiple of 4 it's fine, you Decrease by 4 each time. it should look like a wavy scarf, like half a circle. tanx 1:Kpk, p3tog. (68 sts) 2:P 68 3:P3tog, kpk (64 sts) turn 4:P 64 5:keep repeating pattern till you reach last 4 stitches. 6: Repeat from row 1 again.
I love this pattern and am going to try today. Sometimes I figure this out for myself but being self taught it is hard for me. If I lose track of a pattern, is there a trick to tell if I should be knitting row 1 or 3? I keep a safety pin on side 2 and 4 so I know to purl those rows. Is there a trick to know which row to start the next row on? Hope this makes sense. Thank you for your videos.
hello, ive begin learning to knit in continental style, could you give me a tip as to how to d this without being confused , what is really confusing is the bring the yarn over without doing the actual stich., thank you .. great video by the way you helped me do the seed stich
Hi there I just subscribe as I've aken up knitting. Im makng a huge patchwork throw for my sofa. I look forward o learning different stirches so I can make a variety of different textured squares. I thnk this a bit complex at the moment lol :) Thanks so much :)

Great idea, Marianna Demosthenous - it's definitely time to start cable knitting tutorials! They are so fun. Much easier than it looks, too! I'll let you know when I've created a cable knitting video!
Hi, I just finished a baby blanket in the raspberry stitch and am ready to cast off. I am on row 2 and ready to cast off. It is not turning out as clean an edge as I would like. Would it be better if I purled the row and then cast off in a knit or continue to cast off in the purl row? Please help... thank you so much for your very informative videos and tutorials.
I love this print! Is there a chance you could make a video for creating the beard hat using this stitch? I cant for the life of me find a good pattern for knitting one in all sizes...only crochet, which i have not mastered yet
Hi! The video is great..It was coming off well but then all of a sudden I don't know why I see the bobble being created on the opposite side...not sure what am doing wrong.. please help!!
+Jane Clermont Thank you!! I do have some, handed down by my Grandmother and Aunt, but I personally enjoy wood. Probably just because I'm more used to it. I know it can be faster with metal.
hi kristen, i want to try this pattern for a baby blanket. but I want to make a garter border on the bottom and on the sides. how should I do this then? how many stitches should I cast on?
Hello this is really a beautiful Stitch. I think I will Knut a scharf with it. Do you maybe have patterns for Projekts ? Lots of greetings from Conny in Germany ❤️
Hi, I made a mistake doing this one, I did KFB and then knit into one stitch instead of K1, P1, K1 into one stitch. Is that going to really mess it up?
You can print the free knitting pattern here 💖 www.studioknitsf.com/how-to-knit-the-raspberry-stitch/
