You are right! I love Taehyung's response when Namjoon appeared stuck for an instant at her question of "hooking up with an ARMY." Tae yelled, "No! NO!!!" He and the rest of the guys later voted Ellen off their contact list. Strangely enough, she has no clue why even when the translator who was sitting next to her would tell them what "hook-up" meant. He replied, "They know, Ellen. They know." She has seemed genuinely surprised at their response. Ellen used to be the most open, fresh-faced entertainer with a totally clean routine. But the more important she became, the looser in her attitude about respecting other people. A few years ago she had Chris Evans, Captain America, on for an interview about the newest film. The huge poster was from a comedy where he had gotten out of the shower with a towel around his waist, with the bottom ending a few inches below his navel. Naturally, if you were not a C.E. fan and knew the source, it looked as though he was naked. As soon as the poster was shown, all of the audience, primarily women, gasped, so he knew that "something" happened. The sofa on which he sat was faced away from the poster, so he had to turn around and as he saw it, his reaction was clear. It is well known that his mother always watches any program of that he's going to be on it, so when Chris saw the poster he turned around with a very brief, dark look in his eyes (like Captain America seeing Red Skull), then he smiled, gritted his teeth, and was the ultimate professional through most of 30 minutes while she made smutty remarks at his sake. I can imagine the conversation between a mother and a son over such ______ behavior. 😵😠😖😣 Good for Chris. I quit watching Ellen because if she will do that to Captain America, who was such a hero and inspiration for soldiers in a World War, she can't be trusted. No joking here. 💜😊💜
To this day I can’t understand why interviewers didn’t treat BTS like regular idols. It’s no wonder Big Hit made them their own shows so they wouldn’t have to deal with those kind of people!

The hammer thing is so annoying jeongyeon and Jennie looked like they where about to breakdown and iu seemed so fucking confused as if she lost her conscious
Yes true ! I was so angry and Jennie and jongyeon are not even my bias but no one gives u permission to hit someone that hard even if it is a guy , I understand it was a game but still if I was a staff there I would go up to him and stop him or slap him , this is why I hate their show it's more of a idol hurt show than fun show 😔🙄😠

Just let Wendy eat! These managers are so annoying. I have seen this repeatedly in kpop where the managers have body shamed them or called them fat or a pig or told them to stop eating. It’s disgusting. All that matters if they are healthy
“We have Korean teenagers coming on our show. You know what we should do, ask them about American politics. That speaks volumes on the country’s politics” IM DEAD LOL
The fun part is, most American people do not know all that well about American politics. They only know just what their favourite TV channel chooses to show them, like a CNN or a Fox News - and most of their TV channels are politically aligned to one or the other.
I don’t agree with what Fox News did but these K-pop fans shouldn’t get involved in American politics either especially when half of them are teenagers who can’t even vote.
This reminds me of an interview with SHINee. And key said “sorry my English sucks”. And an interviewer said no no honey! You speak two languages I only speak one. You’re good!! And key was shook. Cause usually the assumptions is idols can’t speak English well. We need more of those interviewers. Who say that THEY lack in comparison to the idol. Complimenting them instead of always asking stupid questions and automatically assume they can’t even understand English.
The flip side is regardless of if idol or not, you can't assume everyone speaks English. I agree with what the interviwer did, and I do that myself. But isn't it presumptuous to assume that they do speak English?
TXT was asked about american politics? What the hell?? I thought people were already delusional asking about BTS's opinion since they're literally neither American nor living there, but asking TXT?? They're literally teenagers what was the reason 😭😭

It’s literally Ellen’s responsibility as a host to learn her guests fucken names at the least. It just goes to show how she really doesn’t care and she did the interview because they have a large fandom which gets her more money.
@Madelyn Chieh not only that . There's tons of reasons . She was already seen and disrespectful and putting down others for entertainment . She also had kinda shaded and you know forced unwanted info from artists private lives like asking bts if they hooked their fans , making Maria Carrey forcefully say whether she was pregnant or not , adding on to the stress she already had and therefore after certain weeks she miscarried etc . I could go on and on . Ellen was surely entertaining but not respectful . James cordon , Conan ( he doesn't let people talk but still ) etc are some of the respect hosts
Bruh chill bts fans.I bet u didn't watched Ellen shows, she's act literally just like us.She isn't a robot who needs to be forced memorized & follow every script.People who knew Ellen well, know that sometimes Ellen can't even remember all her guests & just chill with them.
@@unknown_2474 First of all.. I’m not even a bts fan. And I actually did watch Ellen and I had a lot of respect for her. I thought she was funny and entertaining, honestly she was one of my favorite hosts. But when many people who were on her show began talking abt the mistreatment they experienced at her show, it was hard to ignore. Also, you act as if you know her personally which is kinda strange imo. None of us really know the full stories and atp we’re all kind of working off of assumptions but nonetheless she does have history of humiliating her guests in front of everyone. I’m not saying that in every situation she was in the wrong, I’m saying that this interaction and many others display a disrespectful side of her the makes both the guests and the viewers uncomfortable. Don’t get it twisted.
Yea and also think about it he is on a show and trying to treat some food. Why in the world would he give the amount of left overs.Even if he did at least they should appreciate they are getting free food. Also when they rejected Suga song.Man that just made me disappointed. So what if you don’t like the song cant u at least thank him and just say you appreciate it.There is no need to be like that and say it straight up in his face infront of many people who watch this show. It’s just embarrassing especially when he is a idol of feel like idols can’t defend themselves as much as other artists can.I am not saying they are to weak to i sam saying they get more hate or people make a huge deal about it .
I know if some of us would make a song for BTS, they would pin it right in their hearts as Kookie put army on his hand💜 I mean they already saw videos and appreciated it and I know when a girl learned Korean and talked with RM and apologized for not knowing it well and he was like " it okay, your Korean is gr3at"
Mark Lee literally made Ellen silent for 3 secs by asking her why she is always curious abt dating lives!!...I was angrily cringing throughout the whole Interview with SuperM bcoz of Ellen's disrespectful attitude towards the members..but boy oh boy I snorted like a Hyena when Mark straight up sucker-punched her with that question 😂
I saw a short of like a small compilation of them doing that then at the end I.N (from Stray Kids) kicking one of them (idk what led to that but it was great to see. Just like payback for them doing that to their seniors If you’re curious about the video it’s a short called K-pop idols in weekly idol vs Stray kids
The Jungkook one always makes me mad because he was a literally teenager at the time (I think 18 or 19 but he was still a teenager) spending his own money to buy them food and he was so genuinely excited and they were grown man laughing at him and making fun of him. Like there’s just something about grown men doing that to a literal teenager that’s so fucking heartbreaking.
That clip always hurt me so much. The first time I watched it I cried so much.. I couldn't tolerate it. Jungkook was still a young teen boy barely reaching his adulthood he was 18-19 at that time. He was so thoughtful on buying them food yet they treated him bad. :( If I were there I would've accept ALL of the burgers he bought 🥺
@Samantha Ruvika you're literally just highlighting the toxic beauty standards of the kpop industry which is not okay.... it's ONE ice cream,, ice cream doesnt even do anything to make you suddenly gain 10kg in one sitting,, and she was SHARING the goddamn ice cream with her senior. and notice how it seemed that wendy was most affected by it while seulgi looked okay? they've probably done this to wendy several other times, which cause her to be anorexic and lose that scary amount of weight during red flavour era,, idc how your manager friend works,, it's wrong. one ice cream doesnt hurt anyone,, especially your point 2.,, absolutely disgusting
That man taking upskirt photos of Winter was so awful. Imagine being in her place right now, knowing that guy took inappropriate pictures of you, but your company cares more about money than about protecting you. Not to mention, if that’s what they allow on camera, how must she and the other girls be treated behind the scenes?
It’s sad because you would think the way that SM shows off Aespa’s talents and show ppl how amazing their group is they don’t even come to their defense in situations like this.
The Jungkook part made me actually cry. That is the worst feeling someone can give you. At one of my work places it was tradition that all team members have one cooking day where they cook food for the entire team. However i was the apprentice there and put my heart into a delicious soup the night before work. Not enough sleep and a lot of lost money was the price. The next day when i warmed it up and the first coworkers tried it they spit it out immediately because it was extremely oversalted. I had to flush the soup down the toilet. When i went home mom had a little bit of the soup saved from the pan the soup was in. When i tried it, it was not salty at all. They made me look so stupid, it made me very angry
Watching the Jungkook clip always makes me feel upset, he was trying his best to make the rest happy and comfortable around him but those fuzkers decided to reject him and make him feel even more uncomfortable. He doesn’t deserve anything like that he’s so sweet :(
It makes me tear up every time I remember that clip. :( He is so kind and respectful he didn't deserve that. If I were there I would've eaten those burgers he bought :")
I’m not even an army but I hate that video of jk’s burgers getting rejected, it satisfies me so much now knowing he’s richer than all of those hosts combined Edit: a lot of people are saying “oh actually so and so is richer than him” I know I meant it figuratively/metaphorically that it’s satisfying that Jungkook is so successful now 😭 I don’t even have anything against most of the hosts there (except Doni/Jung Hyungdon. He’s problematic af)
i sobbed the first time i watched the clip because jungkook is such a kind and caring person, back in the early days of bts he would cry because the other members (his hyungs who practically raised him) had such a hard time pre-debut. Bts went to matla for a vacation which they also recorded as part of their bon voyage series, and when jungkook found a busker on the street he stayed and watched her entire performance until the end, then clapped and tipped her, and he was the only one who stayed to watch her performance. I’m glad that he and bts are now rich enough that they don’t have to rely on going on reality shows where they are degraded and made fun of to make money any more.
Yes like why were they so mean to him? Thank you for buying these wtf ? That was so unnecessary and rude. I hate that the hierarchy makes it okay for old men to be pricks like fuck you that's what I love about America, it doesn't matter how old you are, if you're an asshole, you're liable to get a good scolding in public if not get your ass kicked. I literally have never seen this clip before and it was so sad to watch. the cold rejection was bad enough but then they piled on with the "this looks like leftovers" and "clean this up" and being so unkind. and after he was originally so excited and proud!! For me, Weekly Idol was the worst especially how they treated Suga. Imagine, Suga made a song for them and instead of being grateful, they said it's not their style and not match their concept. Like WTF right? Suga made an effort and it just turned out like that. And that burger incident. I can't even finish watching it bcuz I feel so mad and embarrassed.

They r just 2 shitty bish who don't know how to respect sm, u know they made fun of hwasa bc of her skin colour, they pranked on jackson, they said u can met to ur parents if u will won this 🎮 after that Jackson won but they said it was prank, that time Jackson didn't met his parents for 2 years and those 2 bish did this shitty prank on Jackson ,however Jackson controlled his tears and he tried so hard to smile, playing with someone's emotions is not prank, it's really disgusting
And when his response with I will send it to you he goes "Oh, I don't what it. I was just trying to encourage you" COMPLETEY DISGUSTING!!! his face when he said that broke my heart. It hurts me that this poor precious man was treated like this
I wouldn't call the interviewer's question about songwriting disrespectful. He is known for asking the best questions, and that seems like a typically question to ask a singer.
Ya, imagine myself having pot luck and seeing my food untouched is already hurt enough. Seeing the food being rejected directly like that is surely would hurt him so bad especially in tv show.

The TXT one makes me very angry. As an American, I think no one should bring a foreign artist into AMERICAN politics for the sake of getting people to watch. It makes us look greedy tbh. Also you saying “12 year old girls from Minnesota” made my day lol
One hundred percent. If a foreign artist wants to comment on American politics I think that’s perfectly fine, putting that as an interviewer to a foreign artist is pretty shitty.
Exactly. Most of what American interviews consist of is related to America and a group’s achievements in America, rather than their actual music or the group themselves. They’re just feeding off the fact that these groups have hella fans and success in the US. Also, as a 13 year old girl from Minnesota, that also made my day
Fox basically wanted to attack and downgrade TXT because their "So called" Fandom make a troll out of the Trump Event.. Wanted to take revenge on behalf of Trump🤣🤣
The whole “your English is so good” always pissed me off-if you do an interview with someone you’re supposed to do basic research. If you do a quick google search about girls generation and nct 127 one of the first searches would probably tell you that they grew up in North America and speak english. Also some East Asians went to international schools or English speaking schools so Ofc they can speak English very well? Makes no sense Omgod. But the nct 127 interviewer said the managers told him nct 127 doesn’t speak English so I sorta get the response but he should have researched 🙄
As a non English native speaker it starts to be annoying after a while. I am fluent in 4 languages, English being nothing special, probably the easiest one of them so far. And of course I’m good, I’ve been taking English classes since kindergarten..... it’s like people really assume that everybody outside the English speaking countries is dumb as fuck or something, while language wise it’s the total opposite, as it is usually the non English natives who are fluent in more languages and have more diversity in pronounciation overall. I had some native speaker English teachers who have lived in my country for 10+ years, but even with their best effort they still are unable to grasp the correct grammar and pronounciation of our language, because it’s just very different from English and the grammar is more complicated. Therefore when we tell them that they sound good in our language it’s a very different situation, because we actually mean it. We recognize that our language is difficult and we can hear that although not perfect, they put a very big effort into learning it which many choose not to do, and it shows in their pronounciation alone. But hearing “your English is very good” for it being a language which is being taught to everybody since elementary school is very degrading - it’s insulting the mental capacity and language skills we have while also insulting our hard work we put into learning the damn thing. And the funny thing is - in a lot of cases I’m actually better than the natives, as I can correctly use “their and there”, “your and you’re” and “then and than”. Make it make sense please.

Yes it is, but I think what the uploader meant was that it’s not a part of their culture to be touchy when you don’t know each other unlike in other countries, for example in some western countries you may kiss cheeks and/or hug upon meeting new people and be physically comfortable right away whereas in korea they don’t even shake hands with each other, they bow instead. They are very touchy and affectionate once they become friends, but touching someone without knowing them that much is not the norm there
@@mew9797 I get what the uploader meant. I'm just saying that it's still a problem even outside of South Korea. I just want to remind people to ask for consent first.
To be fair to Zach, how would he know. It’s a question he asks *EVERY* of his guests, because he puts a big emphasis on meaning of a song and the process of making it. And it’s a valid question in a music interview. What do y’all expect that man asked a music related question in a interview about their music to musicians. It’s on YG’s fault to not prepare the girls to answer this question. If it’s something that people in the west kinda care for. A simple “It’s the standard in our industry to get involved in the songs decisions, but not completely in the writing. As for many other pop stars we get handled a lot of songs, from there on we pick something that’s goes with our groups vision for ourselves, the concept and what we wanna convey to our fans. We’re not skilled yet in composing our own music, but hope we get more opportunities in the future to perfect this craft and show different sides of us.” Simple easy, next question.
What's even worse was the toxicity of some army back then. There were some saying "He's a big boy, he wasn't even close to crying. You need to stop exaggerating, guys can handle themselves🙄" I wanted to punch some of these people in the face because 1) age has nothing to do with what you are able to handle socially, 2) gender has nothing to do with what you are or are not willing to deal with, and 3) These are grown ass men with huge age differences from him who know full well what bullying is. I’m so mad about that one interview with Monsta X in madison square garden, they told that they were making history by being first kpop group ever to perform in madison square garden and then that person who was interviewing them ignored it and asked ”did you heard that BTS got grammy nomination?” totally ignoring what Monsta X had accomplished...
Yeah, I’m really glad that BTS is popular but it’s so unfair to the other groups because anytime they’re in an American interview or there’s an American article about them then they always have to mention BTS or Blackpink just for the clout and totally treating them like they’re second best.
Trueee.. Army here.... That was so offensive of the interviewer. I wanted to slap that person. Slap slap slap slap slap slap. Stupid. Who gave him that job? 😡
There was this moment during a monsta X's interview where the interviewer was asking about BTS's Grammy nominations to them when the guys were so happy to have been able to perform in a great place.. I just hate it when other k-pop idols are asked about BTS. If your interviewing monsta x ask only about monsta x and their works and achievements and the same with the other artists too. American interviewers badly have to learn about treating and interviewing k-pop idols properly with RESPECT. Asking questions about BTS or other artists not only hurts the artists but brings chaos between fandoms too.
What is also super annoying is when new groups are called "the next bts" or "future bts" in Interviews or on shows in general. Like - no. They are their own group not a knock-off.
I definitely agree. Also, there was a time BTS were asked about Blackpink's collaboration with Gaga and all hell almost broke lose on twitter lmao These interviewers should really stick to the group they are interviewing

That clip still breaks my heart. He was literally so thoughtful to spend his money on buying them food :( he looked like he was about to cry but he kept his smile and tried to just act normal. I'm a sensitive tbh I would've cried if someone called the food I bought "leftovers" even tho those men said "It was a joke we're friends" it was still rude of them to say that. It least they could've said "I'll have and I'm going to eat it later thank you for buying burgers for us" but no :/ it hurts so much how rude and disrespectful people can be whether they're a male or female, kid, teenager, adult or elder they'll still be rude to them :(
They thought they embarrassed him but in the end they only embarrassed themselves. I'm glad that Jungkook is now in a position where he can choose which show he participates in and that he has so many people to back him up now. I can't watch this clip without tearing up, but I'm glad that they are nobodies now while Jungkooks kindness payed out and he is successful now.
I cried after seeing jungkook's one. Sadness was visible in his face but he still smile. He was just being respectful and trying to be comfortable with them. He was teen at that age.they could just tell him that they will eat later but they directly reject him. I can feel how sad he was after that.but now I'm sure they are regretting treating him like that.
Ummmm. I just want to clarify this but when you saw the show and not this clip only, they were pranking him. Many ARMYs are upset on this especially on Jo Seho. But when you saw the ep on Yoo Quiz on the Block which is recently, Jo Seho and Jungkook are close. So, this is a misunderstanding on our side since we only saw the clip.

I agree with all of these except for the bp lyrics one look I know kpop artist aren’t given a lot of artistic freedom especially for the first 4-5 years of their career but rap&hiphop are such a lyrics oriented genre that it’s fair to ask if they write it or do they embody the already given lyrics. Also the interviewer weren’t disrespectful about it he simply asked a question. Just my opinion
Yeah, it's not his fault, but I think anyone who knows at least a little bit about Kpop knows that the vast majority of Kpop idols don't have any involvement in the songwriting process... Only very, very few idols get that privilege, and it's usually men. Unless they're from BTS or GD or NCT or Seventeen or Stray Kids etc, idols never get asked about songwriting, because everyone *knows* . The fact that the girls weren't prepared for that question says a lot - it means they just assumed that Zach would know about how K-idols have no creative input.
Yeah I think it wasn’t meant in anyway to be rude, but in the countries like US and England etc they would ask most artists if they wrote any of the songs or was involved in the process making the song etc. As quite a few are now a days. And most artists tend to have stories about why they wrote that song etc , why they added a certain line and what it was actually about, (like love, loss , anger or a specific life experience) so it’s probably a standard question to ask as an interesting question for fan’s. I think it’s just more awkward as they went quiet when he asked more than they didn’t have any input at all.
@@BangtansMomma Yeah, but once again, BP aren't American or European artists. They're idols from Korea, which is a pretty specific kind of artist. Would've been cool to take that difference in account, rather than just assume that Kpop idols have some kind of creative input. He could've asked "Did you write any lyrics or melodies?" instead of "What's your inspiration behind these lyrics?" (or something in that vein). Didn't help that BP made it even more awkward by staying quiet, I agree lol I'm not saying Zach is wrong or right. I'm just surprised he asked a question like that, considering he'd already talked to idol groups. Or maybe he'd only talked to those who had a little bit of input, like NCT or Stray Kids, which erroneously made him think that idols have a say in the creative process in general. Idk.
When he sat down it looked like he was trying to stop himself from crying.. that clip hurts to watch 😭😭😭 As a person who is quiet and has social anxiety that clip makes me want to cry so bad

The Jungkook and Yoongi one?? that hurted, but you know what? I'm glad they're so sucessful now, they all can see them shine and just wish to be that high.
If Doni and Coni accepted Suga's song, they would have made a ton of money. Their loss. Plus, the American hosts complementing KPOP groups for their english did not do enough research on their guests.
agreed. now they won't even get a chance to interview them, let alone be given a full song. also i fully agree that the american hosts should research their guests, but also if an asian person speaks english i wish they wouldn't feel the need to say anything at all. i wish they would just accept it and move on without bringing it up
For the blackpink songwriting thing, it's basically how Zach sang interviews work... He would rather ask about the thoughts and work process behind the music and lyrics rather than asking random questions about what's your favourite food or what's your favourite English word and stuff like that.. Unfortunately since blackpink can't write their own songs, they could not answer the questions, but it was in no way the host's fault. He just wanted the interview to be meaningful! Edit - I just pointed this out because it was plain awkward , not saying that it was a rude moment, it was just awkward on both Zach's as well black pink's end...
It shows that Zach Sang literally didn't do his reseach properly. He knew that Jisoo plays the drums, but had the audacity to ask about the writing process, like boy, everyone knows that they aren't allowed to write their own songs.
@@beatrixs.235 Well he has a set format of what content he wants to show his audience and it isn't his fault that yg is an idiot who won't let their artists have creative freedom. Also it shows that yg didn't prepare the group to answer such questions, if asked. And why is Zach being blamed. He was still way better than those American interviews asking for their favourite food and things about America. Atleast he asked them something that made sense. It's yg who's at fault for not giving the girls a chance to make their own music and lyrics, even though we know they can write. We never know if blackpink would even go on the Zach sang interview ever again. Its not him who will ever be at loss in this situation . But we should not waste this opportunity and try to get blackpink their creative freedom.
@@beatrixs.235 Also he could've asked jisoo, but it seems to me like she's not allowed to talk on the interviews, as if yg has forced her to be quiet and sit on a side.
@@iamradhikasharma Yeah I think so too, since her english isn'T as good as the other members, they are maybe afraid that she will give them wrong information.

The interviewer asking about song writing was not rude at all. As a musician you will be asked about your music and he does that with pretty much everyone. Imo, as a musician you should be able to answer questions related to your music.
The Jungkook clip makes me so upset. He was so happy about having bought them all hamburgers and soda and for them to straight up dismiss it and disrespect him like that was just heartbreaking to watch. You can see how visibly upset and sad he was.
I don't understand why this is such a big deal. If you are in a bad mood and don't want to it then you don't want to eat. You shouldn't force yourself to accept something that you didn't ask for. They never asked for food and he didn't talk about it before so they don't owe it to him to accept it. Forcing someone to accept something just because you want them to is just toxic. The fact that you hate on someone for not being a people pleaser is just horrifying. Also they were the muddy road team and Jungkook was in the flower road team. Of course they'd think that it would be leftovers and be in a bad mood. I doubt many people would do the muddy road and not be a bit grumpy.

They made me look so stupid, it made me very angry

i sobbed the first time i watched the clip because jungkook is such a kind and caring person, back in the early days of bts he would cry because the other members (his hyungs who practically raised him) had such a hard time pre-debut. Bts went to matla for a vacation which they also recorded as part of their bon voyage series, and when jungkook found a busker on the street he stayed and watched her entire performance until the end, then clapped and tipped her, and he was the only one who stayed to watch her performance. One hundred percent. If a foreign artist wants to comment on American politics I think that’s perfectly fine, putting that as an interviewer to a foreign artist is pretty shitty.
Ofc it’s Fox News that’s asking the political questions
Exactly. Most of what American interviews consist of is related to America and a group’s achievements in America, rather than their actual music or the group themselves. They’re just feeding off the fact that these groups have hella fans and success in the US.

Also some East Asians went to international schools or English speaking schools so Ofc they can speak English very well? Makes no sense Omgod. But the nct 127 interviewer said the managers told him nct 127 doesn’t speak English so I sorta get the response but he should have researched 🙄

@@morklee1213 😂😂honestly if it was me I would be like “omg really ?? Well thanks I was born in Canada after all”
As a non English native speaker it starts to be annoying after a while.

To be fair to Zach, how would he know. It’s a question he asks *EVERY* of his guests, because he puts a big emphasis on meaning of a song and the process of making it. And it’s a valid question in a music interview. What do y’all expect that man asked a music related question in a interview about their music to musicians.

Yeah right!
She said that she more meant that Bp answer was cringe
11:25 - The interviewer asked a fair question - it's not his fault BP isn't given ANY creative authority
@@RhythmAddictedState "Only very, very few idols get that privilege" they read their contract before signing. now deal with your
@@BangtansMomma Yeah, but once again, BP aren't American or European artists. Didn't help that BP made it even more awkward by staying quiet, I agree lol
I'm not saying Zach is wrong or right. I'm just surprised he asked a question like that, considering he'd already talked to idol groups. Or maybe he'd only talked to those who had a little bit of input, like NCT or Stray Kids, which erroneously made him think that idols have a say in the creative process in general. Idk.

@@iamradhikasharma Yeah in the end it's YG fault and I know Zach didn't mean any harm towards BP, but he could have known that they aren't allowed to write their own songs and shouldn't have asked about it.
