TLDR - You need the core rulebook. Forsaken System Player's Guide - Great expansion with character options Threat Assessment: Xenos - Really cool bestiary Church of Steel - Vehicle rules and some fluff that's not super useful Redacted Records - Awesome space hulk book with rules and fluff that are super useful Litanies of the Lost - 4 standalone, multi-session adventures. Pretty cool, very well structured GM Screen - Great resource, also beautiful
Please, and I cannot emphasise this enough, do mote W&G videos - guides, own experiences of the game, tips for new GMs etc... anything really! I find the W&G content on the Tube quite lacking, but have enjoyed your own perspectives quite a bit. So yes, please consider it, and thank you another great video.
Humble actually last year had a great bundle on Wrath & Glory. The core book and SEVERAL supplements for a steal of a deal. I think of the things you listed, only the bestiary was not offered and probably because it wasn't out. I actually prefer to use the "Abundance Of Apocrypha" content from Doctors Of Doom personally. Reason I got it was because of Warhams where they had a campaign set in the TTS universe and I'd very much like to one day run a story set in the world of TTS (it was my introduction to 40K lore).
I would love if at some point maybe you covered the beastiaries of Abundance of Apocrypha vs the threat assessment xenos. Its a cool beastiary, but with the massive amount of work thats gone into AoA it almost feels unnecessary. Great video!
Great video. I have been playing Wrath and Glory for around a year now with some of my discord friends. It’s such a fun game. It’s not always grim dark but I think it’s better that way. Personally, I like it more than 5e as it allows you to make powerful characters. But still know that they are mortal.
Thank you for this video! I just got the Core and Forsaken books, and im dragging my group into the game and setting soon enough! I enjoy your point that everyone makes a different version of 40k in their mind - the 40k universe is so large, and its canon so.... well, messy at times that everyone will have a different interpretation of it. For my part, im taking Gilead and making it a cluster of solar systems around the main one seen in the books. Cant wait to run W&G!
Great video - this has me stoked to get a game together with my group. I hope you post more about the system! *Men united in the purpose of the Emperor are blessed in his sight, and shall live forever in his memory.*
Random adventure generator? Is there one? I really like the setting. I don't play the miniatures game but I do really like this setting has anyone made an adventure generator or something to help envision campaigns and adventures?
I have been looking into GMing Wrath and Glory for my D&D group so they can get into Warhammer and this video is the best video I have found that goes over all the books with an overview. Thank you so much

Great informative video, thanks !!
Why did you stop posting on binge watchers after saying you wouldn't...

I bet you could do a wicked Tyrion Lannister impression. Your voice has the perfect tone for Peter Dinklage.

We play W&G and have fun in Warhammer 40k 💜💜

The GM screen has really good one page adventures!
I have the leather cover book, just need to find friends willing to play 😢
JEALOUS.
Very good video! Would have liked if you let a picture of the book remain in the picture until you talked about the next one. Keep up the good work!

I rather unfortunately bought wrath and glory on release
Would you recommend the core rulebook or the starter set as an entry into this?
Awesome
