Fixing a broken parking brake boot bezel in a C6 Corvette

The plastic bezel that holds the parking brake boot in place on my 2005 C6 Corvette broke, so I wanted to replace it, but not have to buy an entirely new parking brake assembly.

I wish they would design cars without those boots. They are hard to clean and they seem to inevitably fail. There are much better options, but once they are part of the original design, you are stuck with them.

Yeah I agree. Now days, they just have buttons for the electronic ebrake. I guess that’s the solution 😁
