I was six in 1969 and I remember back then that mom use to put on Trio Bel Canto and taught me to dance. There were no Greek Dance schools back then. You got up and learned. Miss those days of mom dancing around the living room with her towel and singing away to the songs, and forget trying to talk to her, you couldn't get a word in inch wise while the album were on.
His Clarino haunts me from my childhood with this particular album, which made me fall in love with the clarino back then and again now .. it's magic and has a life of its own or symbiotic to the player
Hi Chris. First off, my condolences, I see your dad passed a few years back. Second, I also have fond memories of his playing from when I was a kid. My dad had numerous Trio Bel Canto albums and this one in particular sticks out to me. Sadly, my dad has passed away as well but this album and your dad's playing invokes really fond memories of my dad and I listening to this on the record player. Your dad was a supreme talent, one of the best I've ever heard. The 6:14 mark of this song still gives me goosebumps to this day. My son plays the clarinet and it was really special to be able to play this for him like my dad played it for me. Best wishes to you and your family.

Who is playing the clarinet team? I think it’s the same guy Angellopoulos calls “Routha”
My father is playing on this track. Panayiotis Haliyiannis. He is also on Aggelopoulos’ tracks: “Patera Mas Megaloses” and “Tha Allaxo Spiti.”
