Brilliantly put
Just getting into hft and this bloke is the best at explaining hft 👍👍
Just bought my first Airgun (a Diana 350 magnum) at the ripe old age of 33. I have been unable to find an explanation of zeroing a scope that is both simple to understand and doesn’t insult my intelligence. Well done sir.
Hello Sir,
Thank you for your video. I've just made five A-frame target boards and a reel of line measuring ten yards, with a knot in the middle representing five yards.
For my rifles, then I make out a card, specific to that air rifle. The boards are placed every ten yards, ten to forty yards.
Like your rifle, I'm zeroed at ten and forty yards. In between, I use hold under because the pellet obviously rises in its tradjectory. Using this system, I know exactly where to aim at those distances, and I feel a much more able and confident air rifle shooter.
Thank you for emphasising such important, humane, and responsible issues. Ian.
Good video and makes absolute sense, cheers
Well done again, Rog.
;-)
May All the Gods of East , West, North and down under Bless you.
Great info.. Thank u mr..
Some useful informative video info, that I will try out at my shooting range when the lockdown is over ,, thanks ,, do you have any descriptive , videos on the range wheel on scopes? I’m getting back into shooting after a 25 yr gap and for some reason take it more serious now and need to learn and being an older git helps ,,, cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
I can't remember a range wheel film. If you go to UA-cam.com/fieldsportschannel you can search within the channel. There's a series we did called Pellet Power & Performance that may be worth a look - and we did several called the ABC of HFT. / Charlie
Excellent review and extremely helpful 👍
What scope do you use for hunter field target shooting?
I've seen a few guys using 3-9X40 while others use 4-12x50...
