    Thank you very much. I used dry cell which only lasted for less than a year. Now i think i will go for the wet cell. Thank you

      A wet cell battery can give you 5yrs + if we'll maintain, by toping with impurity-free distilled water. Kindly subscribe for more educative content about Solar Inverter and Power electronics

    Quite a useful video. I’ve got a question. What happens to a tubular (wet) battery if not used always?

    • @TobechukwuObi

    Please what thype of battery is lithium iron phosphate(Lifepo4) batteries?

    • @SeleniumTeck
      @SeleniumTeck 2 роки тому

      They in the Lithium-Ion Class. Note the 2major inverter battery class
      1. (Metal-Acid) Lead-Acid, Nikel-Acid etc. They can be either in a wet cell or Dry cell form.
      2. Lithium-Ions. I.e LifePo4 etc..

    Can I connect dry and wet cells together

    • @SeleniumTeck
      @SeleniumTeck 2 роки тому +1

      Not advisable technically. however, it is possible. it would work fine in a parallel connection the only implication is one of the battery sets will not get fully charged due to the different battery chemistry. for instance, in my workshop, I have 2psc of 220ah wetcell & 2psc of 100Ah dry cell all connected in parallel to a 12v inverter the full battery AMPs would have been expected to sum up 600amps, practically total amperage would be 400amps because once the 100amps battery gets fully charged the 200amps tubular battery won't charge further.

    Good job!!! I wish saw this 5yrs ago! I have sank so much money into dry cells that right now I feel so depressed about them... I want to upgrade to lithium but I am also sceptical I fear its all a hype.. which tubular batteries brand do you advise I get.. or is it wise to get a felicity lithium instead
