It was so lovely working with Rachel and Neil. Rachel knows so much about Badgers and is so passionate about them. To see Neil's delight at getting his first Badger shot and then the collective delight from both Rachel and Neil when they looked at the shots on the back of the cameras running Auto Capture was a very special moment. Being able to move to different parts of the forest to take shots whilst the other cameras were ready to capture any badger activity was awesome. A great shoot where we learnt loads about animals that prior to this shoot we knew very little about. Thanks to Rachel for inviting us all.
What a lovely video on the cute and inquisitive badgers. Rachel has such wonderful enthusiasm, which shone brightly on the Gray's of Westminster podcast. Will definitely explore the autocapture on the Z9. Thank you Nikon for the video! 🙂
Brilliant video - currrently in the trail cam phase to "understand" and this has given me some great ideas with Z9/Autocapture for late April - thank you so much !!
Fascinating and inspiring video (and the videography itself is beautiful). It’s very helpful to see Autocapture in action. This also reminded me of Morten Hilmer’s series on badgers.
Differentiating models (z8 and z9) in specific features for the specialized user via software and not limiting the z8 in hardware and possibilities and power is simply genius. Bravo Nikon this is the right path.
Excelent video about autocapture function. A Z9 user from Hungary. I like this function . So useful if you dont want to disturb these little predators life with your presence.
This is the first time I've heard about automatic capture in this camera. Previously, I looked at several reviews of this model and there was not a word about it. Thanks.
Can you please let me know the dress brand and where to get it? I have been enjoying the AUTO-CAPTURE on my Z9 and it is so much fun to get short videos with it.
May i ask whats your in-camera color profile setting for the camera he's shooting @6:45min into clip ??? The color looks different or strange/bland .....better yet the camera thats taking the video is it the same as the one he has ???
Typical Nikon users. “Oh I’ll just casually leave £20k’s of camera connected to a power bank in the woods overnight. I’m sure it will never get stolen or broken “
As a Nikon Z9 user... honestly..do you really think that they leave the all setup in the forest without taking any care and protection...?? Seriously... think on it... Nowadays I start to play with this auto capture mode... leave the camera but stay close to the spot . Other way ... setup a game camera too and u can watch the actions from a mobile phone...if something happen than u will know instanty...
As a new Z8 owner this is a useful tutorial. Thanks. Can I ask where you purchased the jackets from you are both wearing ?.

Give her a recurring series. She's really great.
She is super and so passionate about wildlife.
I could not agree more. She is terrific.
Oh no, now I have to have a Z9. Brilliant video, inspirational.
Magnifique ! Cette fonctionnalité a été une grande surprise et une très bonne nouvelle pour la photo animalière. Merci Nikon !
The Z9 is so a great camera. Good job , bravo

Yes, Morten Hilmer also is so good !

That was a very impressive family group of Z9s in the forest.

Absolutely brilliant.
I have not tried my auto capture as yet. I have been lucky enough with my Badgers. 😉
Hello, Just to say great use of new tec. in the Z9.
Great video...
Is it possible to get some information about the clothes you guys are wearing in this video?
This is the first time I've heard about automatic capture in this camera. Previously, I looked at several reviews of this model and there was not a word about it. Thanks.
A regular Nat Geo series here! I’m sure wildlife photogs will put this excellent feature to produce some great content.
Brilliant Rachel !! Awesome captures and showcase for the z9 auto capture ! How’d you like the 180-600 ….mines on back order ?
Got mine a week ago. Very nice lens. a lovely upgrade from the 200 - 500 Nottingham England..
Can you please let me know the dress brand and where to get it? I have been enjoying the AUTO-CAPTURE on my Z9 and it is so much fun to get short videos with it.
Hi Rachel nice live stream with Becky and Kon
Working for Nikon must be great. Imagine leaving 2 Z9's out for autocapture for such epic photos.
When will the 180 to 600 mm be available in Italy ? I’m still waiting since weeks and nikon support team is not responding anymore. HELP PLEASE !

Super cool video, is the auto capture function only possible on the Z8 and Z9 ? I have a Z7II
At this moment just the Z9 has this feature. Hopefully Z8 gets it with Firmware Update. Like promised at launch.
I think 'older' Models won't get it.
Like his coat...what brand?
I really wish there's a detailed tutorial on how to setup auto capture. There are so many variables and the manual isn't very detailed.
Hi there, you can check out this video for guidance ua-cam.com/video/E8smBhXS3j8/v-deo.html
Amazing
Brilliant.
Are you sure that the camera will accept a charge from the power bank while auto capture is running?
yup
@@hishamosman4341 Thanks for the confirmation. I have in the intervening 7 months tested that to be the case :-)
Ha! Does anyone know what brand of rain gear they are wearing?
She's wearing Revolution Race clothing and he's got Harkilla trousers on. Not sure about his jacket though!
@@chrisbryce270: Thank you! I'll look into it!
Where is my z8 content 😢
Can you make her as your photo shoot model?
Return and camera has been stolen, I've had that experience and as such will not be using autocapture....sadly.
👍
Great idea to abandon your Z9 in forest….and more important to find it back after 😉😃
Whispering for what😂
R.I.P. Z9. A9-iii is here!!!!
Never mind an actual tutorial, like most English people we just skirt around the subject...

Autocapture is great but I cant see myself leaving a Z9 in the Bush.
It would be an even better feature if it was on much cheaper camera bodies ... 🦘
