Great conversation about what girls should / shouldn't wear. Having been born and brought up in the U.K. makes it difficult to understand the Indian perspective. There are different societies within India that are very open and let their kids wear whatever they're comfortable with. Doesn't matter how revealing it is. There are others that live in conservative societies and think about what other people might think or how their daughter might get eve-teased (Indian term for cat-calling / harassment) while walking down the street. And this doesn't only happen in India, it does happen in the West as well - cities like NYC. In India sometimes it is just a matter of respect. E.g. When people visit temples / Gurudwaras in India they cover their heads and women cover up as well. I live in Australia and having been to Gurudwaras here with my Sikh friends I've seen that here as well. Girls / women are covered from head to toe in Gurudwaras and so are men. I don't wholly agree with only Indians commenting about revealing clothing. Have seen a ton on white people commenting on women wearing revealing clothing and though I don't agree with it, it does happen. My personal view, if you have it, flaunt it. Both of you are good-looking people with great bodies and there is no reason why you shouldn't wear clothes that accentuate your best features. Kudos to the both of you.
