Reiko wearing the shao kahn mask is a reference to mortal kombat deception conquest mode. There’s a side mission in out world that you come across shao kahn. And when you talk to him he tells you to find reiko and tell him that he knows about him stealing his helmet and wearing it around. And to stop. Pretty cool

It’s not really a reference… in mortal kombat 4 in his ending he clearly says he wants to be Kahn and is wearing the helmet there

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has that issue with Baraka. For some reason I choke in the same way in clutch situations. It's like he's so simple to use that you forget the options.
When they jump over you. One trick i lern. Spam 4 4 4 4 4 . After two hits 4 4 you can do a Little combo around 20-25 % . Very usefull vs Jony Cage

Baraka is dangerous
Baraka looks badass in that winter skin. He is one of my favorite MK characters by the way.

19:00 you should always start combos with barakas with YX combo string then do amplified baraka barage and then do what you do to finish the combo
BF3 can be amplified on both the beginning (armor) and near the end, which gives a massive boost to damage. DB1 brutality is spam up. Cyrax kameo provides easy 380 - 417 damage on most hits, and you can combo off both grabs. I think the Reiko mask is bought with seasonal currency, could be wrong. With Baraka I suggest more B3,1 because the B3 actually hits twice, mid then low. People have a hard time getting accustomed to that. DF2-EX is minus on block, but hold RB/R1 using Cyrax can help you keep up the pressure.
Seeing Reiko using the helmet shows he wants to become the next Shao Khan or in this instance Reiko Khan. Wish that story arch wasn't scrapped.

Mk1 may be dying but it's flashy combo's are just too good. I play a lot of Tekken 7, not much on 8 since it literally feels exactly the same but i still love it, its OG.
Literally ask anyone with 0 fighting game experience which game has flashier and cooler looking combo's. Tekken 8 or Mortal Kombat 1

I need the update now. I tried playing the game today and was completely bored out of my mind in 20 minutes. The lack of content is so apparent lol. The past 3 days I’ve gotten on for less than an hour in total and I’ve just spent that time in training mode trying to have fun😭🙏
You are playing training mode. In a fighting game. Go into online and fight. Or go against bots in singleplayer. Sounds like you are bored because all you’re doing is hitting a training dummy.
@@Nullcoil I’m only in training mode because the game is that boring. I played online for the past 5 months straight without a change in the game. It’s too repetitive. I usually play invasions every season to take a break from that boredom but this season has gone on for the length of 3 seasons. Training mode is the only thing that is even somewhat fun in the game right now so that’s what I’ve been doing. Game is dead and it deserves to be dead🤷♂️

Say what you want about MK1, but the competition is a lot stiffer for Super than 10 and 11.
