Man, understand something, I am not trying to tell you what to do. With regard to the high-traffic road, I was told many years ago that there is a preponderance of heavy metals from exhaust fumes that settles on the soil around that road. That heavy metal concentration will be drawn up into the any plant material that grows there. I think you should have it tested, at least tested, so that you know for sure. Just a word of caution from an 80 year old farmer farmer and my experience. Like I said, I'm not trying to tell you what to do. Just a thought.

I did not know that thanks for sharing that information, I understand what you are saying and we will probably not cut close to the road next time.

We also use KRONE.......... Easy Cut 320s ..... Ours are mounted on 4760 KMC mower Carts.... Which makes for faster Hitch ups.......Does yours have the quick change blades? We open up a field by making about 6 perimeter passes, then using GPS divide the rest in about 50 foot strips or larger....... Having 3 tractors guidance equipped. can run from the same program......Auto Guidance gives you better control of width of cut. no miss cuts, and quicker laydown time

Yeah Krone is a great brand, ours does not have the quick change blades because it’s a older model, the gps is a really efficient thing to have when cutting hay to save fuel and time.
