The fact that the uncle grandpa crossover foreshadowed that rose is pink diamond drives me the most insane lol He tells Steven that his gem has to be cleaned twice a year. Diamonds have to be cleaned twice a year. Not crystals...

They didn't remove every animated show, they removed quite a few of them, but not every one. Steven universe wasn't removed and uncle grandpa was supposed to be removed but somehow survived with a few episodes

I was pleasantly surprised by the reaction to Say Uncle, it's gotta be one of my favorite crossovers because of how much Uncle Grandpa does to help Steven, the jokes (especially the sinking ship one), and how unhinged the other Crystal Gems are depicted. I'd recommend Uncle Grandpa for a reaction. I loved it when it aired for being a silly but fresh breath of air from all the serialized shows I was watching, and love it now for encompassing how chaotic a cartoon can get while still being funny and entertaining! He happens to help other kids with their problems in earlier episodes (which I was pretty fond of) and later on it's mostly him and his crew going on adventures.

iconic that they pointed out what the fandom has been screaming for years which is can Steven PLEase just do his laundry at the very least in peace without having to play therapist for every thousand year old alien who lives in his house ?!
8:41 it’s called “coming undone” coming undone signifies a state of extreme emotional distress, where a character is experiencing a significant breakdown or loss of control, often due to overwhelming trauma, stress, or a deep sense of personal disintegration; essentially, it means their mental and emotional stability is rapidly falling apart.
Gem: *gives her traumatic centuries-long backstory or considers dark recent events* Steven: "I was just getting my socks out of the dryer, but sure, okay."
There is totally at least one fan comic of Stevonnie trying to stay fused for as long as possible to elongate old Connie's life. I remember watching a comic dub video of it years ago. They do unfuse in the end and Steven watches her die of old age.
I just realized how crazy it is that Greg was willing to try fusion. He witnessed two beings physically merging into a singular many-eyed form. For a human, that sensation would probably be surreal and unsettling, but he managed to work up the courage to attempt it within the day.
That's only with seasons 2-5 of the series, season 1 didn't have that issue of the episode being a story-driven episode outta nowhere. That's why some people criticize the rest of the show.
Probably going to regret voicing this, but does anyone else feel that in It Could've Been Great that Peridot was right? I mean, granted, she was "technically" out of line, but she basically gave the energy of "Why are you booing me? I'm right!" in that Rose Quartz didn't do a "great" job in protecting people when there were other options. Even though she said those things, the Crystal Gems should've known that the innocents on Homeworld would most likely have felt the same way as Peridot. Specifically, when the Off Colors didn't know who Rose Quartz was, but saw her as a tyrant, while the Crystal Gems saw her as an idol. I was always mad at Garnet for that moment because she should've known the whole time that there was no point unless she showed Peridot, explicitly, what Rose had done and that it wasn't worthless. As Peridot uses logic for most, if not all, of the things she does, she most likely saw what Rose did as putting 2 and 2 together and it not equaling 4, but something WAY off. Long story short, I was with Peridot on that one. The Crystal Gems were idolizing her to the point that they ignored her faults and only saw the good side of her; much like how Pearl saw Rose vs. how Volleyball saw Rose.
