May be, but it's a problem when you take the car to farm, park under trees, have a lot of plants at home etc. Putting a body cover on the car is also easier with the short one, long one bends a lot due to the weight of the car cover.

Yes, working fine. No difference observed after the change, moreover this is original Maruti antenna that comes with their other cars.
