I had the privilege of being a friend of Ali. He, his wife and daughter came to my home on my birthday. He and his daughter sang impromptu for the guess, it was very special. I remember many nights being in the studio as he and my wife (Elaine Gibbs) laid down tracks for their recordings. WHAT A SPECIAL PERSON HE IS EVEN IN HEAVEN, HE GOT TO BE SANGIN.
His new body has more color and vibrancy than even the blessed human vessel did. He's in the woodwork of all of our lives through what he gave us. I'm crying now.

My understanding was the reocurrences of throat cancer. My thoughts of him that is/was a faithful man; a praying man; his craft in music was fulfilled to the max; he loved it and sought it as passionally as any one could. Ali was a man of humility; very conscious of others; I love the way he carried himself...He was one of my favorite Temps. Thanks Juanita for sharing this...there are some things that I am going thru and I have rec'd blessing from this epic expression in music.
For me Ali was the greatest vocal (professional/spiritual Singer) of all time. Songs like Error of our ways, Hoops of Fire, Lady Soul, Special and Treat her like a Lady can never leave me till i die. God bless your soul my Brother.

My understanding was the reocurrences of throat cancer. My thoughts of him that is/was a faithful man; a praying man; his craft in music was fulfilled to the max; he loved it and sought it as passionally as any one could. Ali was a man of humility; very conscious of others; I love the way he carried himself...He was one of my favorite Temps. Thanks Juanita for sharing this...there are some things that I am going thru and I have rec'd blessing from this epic expression in music.
For me Ali was the greatest vocal (professional/spiritual Singer) of all time. Songs like Error of our ways, Hoops of Fire, Lady Soul, Special and Treat her like a Lady can never leave me till i die. God bless your soul my Brother.

What a privilege for us to have Ali Woods on in our life. Their's no talent like Mr. Woods on. No matter what type of song he gave it his all. I listen to him daily my favorite is my best friend. It's a tear jerker but the most beautiful song ever. We are lucky to still have his music. God Bless you Mr. Woods on May you'll RIP.
