Public enemy is one of the best rap groups of all time. Chuck D is amazing on and off the mic. Flavor Flav was always entertaining as well. No one compares to Public Enemy now.
I remember buying this album at 13 “Yo bum rush the show” Then I saw P.E. with EPMD Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince and Run DMC at Joe Louis in Detroit. In my opinion this was the Golden age of Rap and the greatest of rap. They had messages back to that’s why today stuff’s only about selling drugs, killing people, getting paid, and getting hoes. That’s it….
First rap concert, November 23rd,1988, St.Louis, Missouri. Public Enemy, EPMD, ICE T, STETASONIC, EAZY E and NWA at St. Louis Arena. It was on a Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving, DOPE SHOW!!!!
I have always loved Public Enemy. Chuck D is the man. They never made s song where they were just trying to find out how many times they could swear on a track. It was always a good message.
... and DJ Johnny Juice Rosado did most of the scratches on the first two PE albums according to the official PE book. TX scratched live, and Juice mostly did the studio work.
Yeah brah. Before Rage Against the Machine, there was Public Enemy. They didn't start political hip-hop (I think that was Grandmaster Flash), but they were huge in the genre. . I had no idea Flav's grill actually said Flavor Flav.
DJ Johnny Juice Rosado did the scratches on this one, according to the official PE book by Russel Myrie. Juice did the job, Terminator got the credits, effed up.
Still jamming this song with set of terminator speakers and subs with amps ol skool rims those where the days rappers not afraid go against the government/,,politics. Today's they are wussied up with rainbows and Gucci gang.
Back in the day crews with a dope DJ would let them just rip ish for a track or two dolo. PE, Run DMC, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince (Will Smith.). I actually only bought Fresh Prince albums because DJ Jazzy Jeff ripped it from beginning to end.
Public Enemy- Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos

The best.
The best in rap, best music, and the lyrics are far better than any other rap-group that I've heard.
Public Enemy is the greatest American musical act of any genre at any time. Period.
Oh man this is bringing me back to my childhood. This album was a classic!!!
Was and is a classic.
Interesting fact is the music is rebel without pause playing backwards

One of the greatest HipHop albums of all time… if I’m not mistaken that first album to use multiple skits in between tracks/songs.
THE Greatest...
I've been listening to PE since the 80s and saw them live in 1990. they played with Primus and Anthrax

I wore this track OUT as a kid. I remember playing in the car with my dad. He was into it until all the F bombs, then he yanked it 😂

When Flav said, "who gives a fuck about a god damn Grammy??!" I knew this shit was gonna hit different.
"first time" ?? how old are you ?
The main problem with you guys that do these videos is that you talk too much. Let the music play!
You talk to much.
