I hate binge watching good shows. I always feel like I've lost a good friend once it's over. So glad I gave this show a chance. It was really a great show.
I watched the last episode over the weekend and I am have withdraw symptoms.... now watching stuff on you tube .... sigh
I started it just a couple days back and just finished it...and I was absolutely trying to put off watching that final episode cause I knew I'd be a bit upset about it getting over so quickly...guess I'm making up for it by watching their interviews now lol
I have this post show hangover that is making me watch all the available related videos of the show on youtube!
I binged watched it right up to season 6 in like 1 weekend. Then when I realised the 6th season was the last I like stopped binge watching and started watching just like 1 episode a week to make it last longer. I really didn't want it to end.
Same!!!! I agree with that completely!
Guys, Dan talks a lot because he’s the show’s creator, main writer and show runner. He has an innate understanding of this world and he’s really articulate
Broadway DQ It's his baby, and he's a proud papa!
Karen From Finasse you mean, as Moira would say, his bébé
@@juno2871 I love hearing her say baby or bebe lol.
Dan Levy is a doll
Yes he created the show with his dad's help
I hope to see Annie Murphy in more roles after this. She was so good.
Agreed! She’s a fantastic comedic actress and definitely hope to see more from her.
Yes, and so so underrated.
Agreed!
Anjali Jangra 16 Not underrated now with an Emmy nomination! And 15 overall nominations!! 🙂
I can't forget her face when she had her heart broken. After all the affectation you saw her real emotion, holding it in but visible.
I LOVE how Moira says bebé
It’s so satisfying
It’s hilarious!
...and cringy all at once
My mum said she heard me sleep talking “bebé” and “alExIs” and “Davehhhd” I have become Moria
@@Selena-of1py isn't that the dream though.. Slowly becoming Moira
I think David and Patrick are the first gay couple that comes to my mind who were just happy being together without any extra death, infidelity, sadness or other drama added. They just warmed my heart.
Just such a lovely thriving relationship
David is pansexual so it would be a mlm couple not a gay couple
Yes! They were just allowed to be a couple. Their relationship allowed them to still be their own individual selves while we saw them becoming more "couple minded" and making sacrifices for each other that felt genuine. A really great relationship study for writers!
@@xxarahss9770 If they were real people they may still consider their *relationship* to be a gay relationship as a pair, regardless of individual identify. It's a matter of personal preference, there's no hard or fast rule.
Another couple that comes to mind, is Waverly and Nicole on the show, ‘Wynonna Earp’. 💛
The way Eugene looks at Dan. That’s a dad who is proud of his son!
I was coming here to say the same thing!
It was nice to see being gay totally accepted and not a conflict/plot of the story line which is predictable in most shows. In this shows it was just accepted from the beginning and that was refreshing.
Victoria Weldy yes, it was a revelation
In my small town... when I came out as bi.. I was more weird about bring my girlfriend around to like the small town bar than they were... people can surprise us thankfully
Pansexual but yes
Yes this was something I observed too, and it was a refreshing change
@@FafiLPDoll yes! it was nice to see an outwardly pan character on screen! i’ve never seen that 🥰
I love the relationship between Alexis and David. They snark and bitch at each other, but when David admitted to Alexis that he was the one at home worrying about her, her turn and smile said it all. When it all boils down, they love each other, even when they’re nitpicking.
“Mmm. Eat glass.”
“Lick rust.”
Yes that moment was great.
Love that scene.
That nitpicky annoying each other kind of relationship is so me and my brother. Loved it
The success of the show is simple. People love to see damaged, or 'real', characters grow and find their place in the world.
Yes, plus the writing really touched me. David, is such a great actor when his tears well my eyes automatically do too. The episode where he was wanting to get an apt in NYC and he was driving away after realizing his friends had all abandoned him stayed with me for days. You could see the pain so clearly. Also, the house buying talk with Stevie was just an ugly cry mess in our house.
I liked the love in the show. There are no 'evil' characters and nothing horrific happens.
Also, respect for ending it on a high. You do NOT want to be one of those shows that overstay their welcome.
I read that last part in Johnny’s voice. He uses that expression quite often.
Sebastien Raine was low-key evil.
I watched the entire show for the first time in the span of 3 days and now I have to REALLY fight not to talk like Moira in regular conversation. Her voice and accent are all I can hear in my head 😅
hahahahah, too funny!!! for me its hard to pick my fav character.. You Go Behbeh! lol
OMG SAME 😂
Yes!! It’s SO difficult!!! 🤣
And Alexis!
So hard not to say bébé
ever since i watched schitt's creek ive been emulating alexis. like ive been caught wagging my head and having down bent wrists lool.
JadedeaJade same!!!
My fiance's name is david... so you can only imagine what he has been thru lol
Eeeuw jadedea ewww
You're a little bit...La la la la la la la... :-)
Oh my god, same, all I ever say is ew, David
Somebody give Dan Levy his own talk show!
When Daniel talks about the show being appreciated by people from both sides of the political aisle, I think that's partially due to the fact that these stories aren't written from a political perspective, but rather a human one, these are human stories. And really the just the whole premise of the show is very unifying. If the major divide between the political sides in this day and age is sort of the "city vs country" aspect, then this show really brings together those two cultural groups in a really humane way.
That’s a really good way of putting it. Of the people who don’t like this show, and surely there are some, I wonder if they would be predominantly one political party over the other.
It is close minded and ignorant to believe one side of the political isle is hateful and bigoted. Unfortunately a lot of people have been brainwashed into thinking that.
I’m sorry but does anyone else need Dan levy to say the “ hmmm, eat glass” again
And “lick rust” by Alexis 😹
MY BEBES!
15 Emmy nominations for 2020!! So well-deserved.
I grew up in a small town, and though there are a lot of negatives, there are positives. This show emphasized the positives, which I appreciate.
What's really good about this show is they tell the story pretty straight forward and in really funny way.. No bullshit, no exaggeration. I would love them to have another 4 seasons but since they are ending it, i swear they did it really well.
This show brings me joy in this dark time.
Art Sub Lessons yes, I streamed all 6 seasons this week. A friend told me about it just last week. I cannot believe I did not find it sooner
6 seasons and ... A movie?
YASSSS PLEASE!!
No need for the movie! The series worked because of tight atmosphere and intimacy. Movie demands bigger parameters and thats just not part of Schitts DNA. EVEN though i'd love it as well :D but i am afraid it would be a disaster like Ab Fab or Sex n The City flicks :))
"They're just called The Olsen's now." Lololol
So they are no longer twins? Ah, the pour bey-bees.
This show helped me survive the early days of the pandemic. When everything was terrifying and uncertain, this show brought much needed laughs and hope!
Yes. It’s so uplifting when you just need happiness around you.
David and Patrick’s storyline was the first courtship I’d seen on TV. I’m 55. Well done, man.
Good for you, Stevebebé
The thing I love about the cast is that their characters are different than the actors who play them. Annie, for example, does not do all the limp wrist, head bob thing that Alexis does and Catherine's normal speaking voice is COMPLETELY different from Moira. There are so many actors whose roles propel them into stardom and then when they are interviewed you see that the character is exactly like the actor
Some of the characters. The two you mentioned mainly. Dan and Eugene's characters are just like them.
@@JoeCarswell - I can see where you're going but I still disagree. If you watch Dan in an interview, he has none of those facial expressions or gesticulations that his character does nor does he say things like "Oh my God". He isn't the slightest bit animated. Eugene is the "straight guy" (comedically) so his character is automatically going to be less animated than the others and closer to "normal".
An example of what I was talking about is Lisa Kudrow. There's no doubt that she's super-funny but you can see a lot of Phoebe in her when she does interviews and in other parts.
This shows why Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara have stood the test of time.
Seriously our favorite show. It's like inviting friends over every night
I could spend the rest of my life in the company of Daniel Levy. 💞
daniel levy inspires me so much, he is so talented and AMAZING at talking and explaining and doing everything. the way that the rest of the cast look at him makes me so happy.
The theme of the show is simple... they lost their money and found their love for each other. Also, BAY BAY!
One of those shows that sneak up on you.
I scrolled past, quite a few times and my daughter suggested it.
I started watching about 2-3 months ago and was hooked.
Finished the last episode this afternoon (I'm in Australia) and now I'm already missing it, so I'm watching all these vids instead.
SO glad I watched it...SO glad👍👍🧡🧡😍😍😀🧡😂
Good observation by Dan that the show and it's characters found their footing right from Episode 1. So true. None of the awkward growing pains that many shows go through. Bravo!
Awk even out of character Catherine (Moria) looks like a proud mama. Love this cast so much
I love how when dan is talking everyone else is silent and do not interrupt him. Love that 😍👏🏻
Every actor/actress is outstanding. I really hope this cast does more shows together. Love Schitts Creek so much. Watching it the third time now. Thank You All!!❤💙
This show is amazing. It's brought my sister and I closer together and we're both sad to see it go. But I'm so glad it was in my life at all
I absolutely adore David and Patrick's storyline, and agree that it is so refreshing to see a happy gay couple. ❤️ I also want to add though that I think this show also powerfully reconfigured the portrayal of heterosexual relationships, which is so full of cliches! The Ted-Alexis-Mutt story was so much more mature than traditional love triangles. It really hit me when Ted told Alexis about his one night stands when they were broken up and Alexis' response was 'Go Mr. Casanova'! Suddenly the whole 'we were on a break' storyline from Friends felt really silly! Dan said in a different interview about how often loyalty in a relationship revolves entirely around sex and it's important to change that - and they did that with every single relationship on this show!
I love how they all listen so attentively to each other ! Respect ✊. I love this show!
I didn't want this show to end. I felt like I was "literally" "okay just pause there" say goodbye to my beautiful disfunctional family. I will miss this show.
BEHBEH 😂😂
All I can say is: Congratulations to all, well deserved!
One of the best shows to every been shown on TV
I love how annie is just super chill
The Levy family must be really proud! What an amazing show. All of themm. So well acted❤
ANNIE is MAGIC!!
i was hooked on this show as soon as it appeared on Netflix, before and after work I would watch as many episodes as I could. This show has to be one of the best comedy series ever screen on television.
I agree--this cast charged out of the gate. Just finished the show and I have to say that Alexis (and her journey) is the most fascinating character. Things that were built in to this character from the beginning, but may have gone unnoticed, really pay off in season 6. She has unnoticed qualities that really are her strength.
Such a great show. I just discovered it and watched all 6 seasons in two weeks. The lessons are so wonderful. Thanks to the Levy's and all involved for touching my emotional soul. And boy can sister and Neil sing. ;)
Catherine's wardrobe really adds to her already sexy demeanor
“Where is BayBay’s chamberrrrrrrr?” 😂
All actors in this show are our pride and we love them🇨🇦💞💞💞💞
I absolutely DIED when Moira pronounced it "AWNchilada" 🤣 that whole episode is great. I love this show so much🥺
I Dont want This show to be over i hope they make more Episodes is too Good to let it go.😍😍😍
Sandra Canez a movie would be nice after the show is over
We need more shoes like Schitts Creek! It is so heartwarming and you can’t help but feel better for watching it. Truly brilliant cast and storyline! I never wanted it to end! 💜
I absolutely love this show. I feel like you were just getting started and now it’s over. 😂Thank you for the much needed laughs and tears. Please keep us entertained with your next amazing creation!
I love this. The fact that the characters were so 3D and realistic was one of the main reasons I fell in love with this show in the first minute of watching it. I live with my parents and brother and I see a lot of us in these characters--Ive shown so many scenes to my family and said "this is you". Such a nice change to have a show like this
When Alexis tells Ted “I’ll be there and they’ll be here but I’ll be thinking about them being here.” And Ted says That’s called missing someone.”
The love and respect among these actors is heartwarming ♥️
I MUST have Dan's baseball jacket with the leopard lining. Unless it's, like, D&G and costs $1100.
Love when David couldn't hide the glimmer in his eyes....love the show and this family.
Fast forward few months and they sweeped the Emmys
I love this show so much! Amazing writing, feels and cast - humans! Been a huge fan of Eugene Levy and Catherine O Hara since I was a wee one! Congrats!
I’ve watched this show over and over again and it never gets old!
I CRIED AFTER WATCHING THE FINALE
I love this show. I’ve watched it right through all the seasons 4 times. Can’t get enough of it.
I can't wait for more !
It's impossible not to love this show. I love this journey for us. lol
My husband and I watched the show together for the first time recently. Than we immediately started watching it again. We love it so much!!!!!
Have 2 admit that David love story was simply the best!
The levening in the bread is the love that makes the loaf. Those of us all who are lucky enough to receive and give love know its value. Those who don't but miss it, want it, can tap into all the energy that is dedicated to helping them find a path to that common, grounding and beautiful road.
Such a great show SO many talented people wi th great chemistry but Catherine O'Hara as Moira really sent it over the top. She was solid gold and made the show fantastic !
Fast forward to them sweeping the comedy category at the Emmys this year...
So great to see the back story
I love this show it was the best and I wish there was more. I fell in love with all the characters!
Love the show watching it over an over 😂💕💕💕💕like all of them especially Annie (Alexis ) and David
Love this show. 🙏🏻
I absolutely love this show. Both Eugene and Daniel Levy have done an amazing job.
Love you all , again & again!
Does Catherine get to keep all the clothes?
3506Dodge I hope she got to keep the “girls”. At the very least Chrissy lol
They each chose one thing to take home, I think Catherine chose one of Moira's wigs but I can't remember. All the clothing was then sold and part of the proceeds went to an LGBTQ+ charity.
The best clothes I've ever seen Ever... Besides Joan Crawford!!
I believe they sold them in an auction..
@@sylvia5623 , I had thought that would be a great thing to do when I saw the special about the clothes. I am so happy they did that. Of course they did. Thanks for the intel.
love, love love it.
He is so well spoken wow😩💕💛
I loved the episode when David sang his love out for Patrick and I am straight. You all rock♥️
I found this show during quarantine , fall in love ever seen ,been watch all 6 season .
You all were perfect and so funny. I never laugh out loud but you each one THE BEST EVER!!! Just want more

Love is observation of beauty and so satisfying to be able to observe that in this incredibley funny show. Keep up the awesome work.
This show is hilarious!! Good article!

Love this show. Dan levy’s jacket, he looks amazing .
4:12 SAY IT A LITTLE LOUDER FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK 💕
Fuck! Eugene and his wife should be so proud of having raised a well educated and compassionate son.
Its just a beautiful thing to see
“Eat glass” is priceless!!! 🤣
Who makes Annie Murphy’s jacket I’ve never coveted an article of clothing more
