I think your new couch adds a mid-century modern vibe to your ultra-modern vibe. It does make the space more comfortable and cozy, and less sterile. It is beautiful. You did well to lay the white blanket on it to marry it to everything white, and you will be able to add just a few little wood elements nearby to your decor to tie the space together even more. Love the sofa addition. I also like how the side chairs pick up both sofa colors as well as the coffee table to bring everything together. I’m not a “match-y” furniture person either. You just need to know how to bring all the pieces together for a cohesive look and you have DEFINITELY achieved that. Thanks for sharing!😊

I love that sofa, the accent chairs, the wood on the accent chairs matches the sofa. The white sofa is throwing things off. I will just go ahead and just move that in storage and just have the two chairs and the leather sofa. Happy Holidays

A Cognac colored sofa is my DREAM sofa. I’ve wanted one for YEARS! I assume it’s going to be my NEXT sofa, considering just yesterday my son took me shopping for my “early Christmas gift”! He wanted to buy me new living room furniture! I picked something in the “cream” family since I recently started “revisiting” the more neutral vibe. I’m so excited to see how it’ll feel in my space.

Thank you. Yes, I will be adding a frame tv after the holidays. My mother in law has one and I’m finally breaking down and adding a tv on the main floor. We usually watch tv in our media space in the basement.

I love the idea of doing a mismatch of furniture. I've never been a big fan of matchy matchy anything.
I must say though I'm shocked you went with that color. A brown sofa is not what I would've expected in your design. I honestly would've picked you for choosing the black one.

I like the look and new sofa definitely adds warmth to the space. Did you consider going the next size up for the rug? Just a thought...
Thank you. The rug is a 7’10 x 10. So far it’s worked out I may go up a size In the future but for now it seems to work. I really love seeing my floors and I really don’t want to see rugs everywhere.

you have beautiful taste, but I think the leather sofa would look better in black, but as long as you like that's all that matters

Loving that sofa however I think the sofas should be opposite with the two chairs facing the TV with an element between chairs and perhaps a larger rug and pull the arraignment just a little further apart but again the sofa is gorgeous
Thanks. I believe I did mention I didn’t want to see the back of the sofa from the entryway plus the sofas being opposite of each other doesn’t allow for a natural viewing angle for the tv. We would constantly have to move our neck to see the tv when you have multiple ppl seated together. Also that configuration leans towards a formal look and not a relaxed one. Which is what I’m straying away from. Thanks though!

Sorry it does not work… either duplicate the leather sofa or move it out. I know it’s a sponsor but if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work, space looks so cluttered. And both sofas together like your trying to make a sectional from mix-matched sofas, nope… and this is the first time you missed it on your decorating, but you the one have to live with🤔
