I had the privilege of being there in the second row just in front of Eugene. This gig has to be their best, cause of the lightning and the sound. They shoot the whole show and I hope they make a video for I speak astronomy, cause the effects used on the lights, were one hell of a thing to watch. Loving your enthusiasm and your knowledgein all the comments and yours is one of my favorite reaction channel’s Cheers mate!
Having seen them twice on stage, what no video can capture is Tatiana's sheer magnetism in person. I mean, one would think that as impressive as she seems in the live videos, that the video is capturing it but that's just a shadow of her true power on stage. And yeah it isn't fair that I barely glanced at the other 3 members of the band, but that's just the way it works. One of the things I enjoy about Who Is Gonna Be The One is the twinkle in Eugene's eye when they pause the intro before Tati comes on stage, because you can tell he understands. The focus is the frontperson, and Tati's ability to inhabit that persona is so amazing, and utterly mesmerizing. It looks like they rolled some of the money they made on their almost entirely sold-out North American tour into upgrading their stage setup. I was sure they'd upgrade eventually, but couldn't imagine what would fit their style, and this works really well, IMO. I hope this is their standard gear for large venues. Other than Kiev, I've only seen bootlegs from smaller venues where it is just 3 screens instead of the tall angled panels - the Dreadful Moments "official bootleg" for example. Even the 3 screens is a big visual upgrade, but this setup would have a lot more visual impact on huge festival stages, so I'm hoping that is what they are doing. The angles of the screens add a lot of interesting lines in the videos which is very cool. Pit Of Consciousness is a great official video. Just for fun watching, the bootleg of it from Berlin uploaded by George M is surprisingly good for a phone video - it looks like the clarity was the result of really good luck, because the other videos they uploaded from that show aren't nearly as free of distortion.
They definitely made a lot of upgrades since this gig was in their country, with their people and the fact that it was here they started their European tour.... I was amazed by the amount of people in there...I think we 1300 metalheads in there. This is to me, their best presentation ( indoors) ever and it will be difficult to surpass.
@@cooltechnician it looks like it was amazing. I've said it before and will say it again, the vibe I got from the bootlegs was "returning home in triumph."
@@j.f.fisher5318 and they can definitely say they are enjoying their success.. with a lot of sweat and probably tears involved. It was really emotional to see Tatiana speaking in her mother tongue to the whole audience and the ovation they got in return...and the mosh pit at the end was crazy..
Jeffrey Fisher, why do you think: " And yeah it isn't fair that I barely glanced at the other 3 members of the band, but that's just the way it works." in my opinion that's not correct. We can always see the whole band, why not? You know, I'm loving the whole band, including Tatiana, and yes, I saw them live in Berlin, and yes I'm a musician and yes I am a music lovers.
I think I've seen all of UA-cam reactions on Jinjer's songs, and I always find a comment from you in every video. A true fan. I saw them live in Colombia 🇨🇴
I used to work in the record industry and 100% agree with both your analysis of their musical/songwriting talent as well the gift that the industry hasn't screwed them up.
I saw him in Guadalajara, Mexico. Just before they canceled their tour cause the COVID-19. In a small forum, I stay at less than 2 m of she .... soooo fuck unreal perfomance!!!!
I was talking to one of their US tour managers at a recent show (that wasn't jinjer, but manages one of my friends bands) and she said "they're all so adorable. they always run through the setlist over and over before every show. they really strive for perfection" and it was cool to hear that
Great reaction. Totally agree with everything you said. This band is firing on all cylinders and they are supercharged. I hope they can keep it up for many more years. They are still only in their early 30's. Quite impressive and powerful results to see this creativity and drive magnified x4 people on all the same page and a support system in place to get their efforts to be witnessed by us. Amazing creative talent individually all coming together to make something special. Again lets hope they can hold it together for many years to come, will be interesting to hear the shape of new material in the next year or two. Tatiana and Eugene get bored easily so no doubt there will be new songs as soon as they get a tour break.
I’ve stated in other comments that vlad plays that kit in the success of making it “sound bigger than it is” ... Your closing statement about how they can’t do anything wrong, is the correct “words of wisdom “ ;-) (see what I did there)
a friend of mine saw them live few weeks ago here in the states...he a hard guy to impress...hes got a second set of tickets for another show...25 years ive knowen him...hes never seen the same band 2 times
My favorite part of your reaction was the F-bomb at 8:01. it's hard to wrap your head around how effortless everything seems. You need to see the APE LIVE (One-shot Live from Mystic Festival 2019) if you have not seen it... amazing.
I love your channel mainly, for myself, Jinjer and Fringe reactions. You mentioned going into some of Jinjers older tracks, I HIGHLY recommend doing Outlander, it is still one of my favourite songs by them. The video is similar to Teacher Teacher where it is a live performance with the studio audio overlay.
There are a few Outlander videos. The "Failure .Color" video is the one most fans seem to prefer with their video performing the song for Best Ukranian Metal and studio sound. I like the Official Live version as well, but there is some distracting stuff like other bands dismantling their gear in the middle of the performance and a fan coming on stage. Though TBH I never noticed the guy walking around in the white shirt dismantling their drum kit until someone pointed it out (dunno how I could have missed that hahaha -of course, there is one very obvious explanation :p ) and the fan interaction is cute...at least after the first time thinking "oh crap, hope this goes okay". The Fuse Vue video seems like a good idea but it has really muddy sound compared to the official live version. Then there is also a video from Respublica 2015 too just to confuse things even more haha.
Michael Barnard Also Until the End also their big hit from their first EP „Inhale, don’t breathe” Also i live all their lyrics official videos - they are great. And i recommend to check all of them, starting from the favorite one „Plus or Minus”
one more time thanx for your enthusiastic reaction for an absolutely great, great band. Indeed the whole band and also Roman the guitarist. IMO Roman is mentioned too little. best regards from germany
GreyWolf, you are so good in music, i mean you feel it incledibly well, deeply, passionately, trully. It's always interesting to listen what you thinking about songs. Thank you for that, really thank you. Hello from Kyiv, Ukraine. Keep it up.
I also admire the fact that Tati in the studio does the things she can do live on stage, so I never hear the difference between the versions and thats is great because everything fits the whole picture.
I like that their studio mix is very close to the live sound too. Their live sound is so good that they don't need a lot of mixing. Though they are definitely now incorporating layered vocals on a backing track for at least Retrospection.
I’ve seen J three times and am still waiting for Tati to pull off those high screams towards the end of Pisces she does on the official video. Seeing them again 4/24. Maybe forth times the charm.
Raul she has said lately on an interview that she is afraid of try to pull the high notes on that part and screwing it up.. I suppose it demands a lot as well. I’m always 100% satisfied with their gigs, traveling and attending my 7 th gig on March 17 in my country, 🇨🇷
@@cooltechnician I'd thought of noting that in my original comment but thought it was redundant. Since she switches from back and forth between cleans and growls in mid-line regularly, I suspect that the issue is growls to belting and back. Also I'm sure she *can* do it but if she messes it up say 10% of the time that would have been 15 shows last year.
You're be far my favorite jinjer reactor. .. and I need you to react to wall flower. It's their masterpiece.. I've been waiting for you for over a year
Tatiana is so much more than good looks, we all know that, but I wanted to agree and say that she looks simply and utterly amazing at this performance.
Whenever I see one of your Jinjer reaction videos, which I just really enjoy watching, just because they ignited such a passion in you, one I can really relate to, I sit here and think to myself I wonder what this guy thinks of Sleep Token. You really should check out Nightwish @ Wacken 2013 as well. They are mostly softer due to being at home at symphonic metal, but they also excel at live performances and every band member being flawless. Would love to see you react to them :D

Agree. Besides, Roman is the author of most of jnjr songs. And a very positive person :)

They've invented their own genre. Can I say "Jazzcore"?
try sth less popular, like "A Plus Or A Minus" - those are just as good
Kyiv 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
I love their music but their music is very difficult for the masses to perceive. The masses need three chords and a pleasant howl like Scorpions.
Of course, #KyivnotKiev
Киев kievnotkyiv
The right one "Kyiv", but not "Kiev"!
"Kyiv" is just an ukrainian spelling of the word and "Kiev" is russian one. So it doesn't matter, actually. Both variants are right and russian one you can hear more often from people.
Kyiv not Kiev
I found my way here from your "Pisces" reaction video and I stayed for the rest. Pisces was also the first song I heard by them, and after that I was hooked, completely. Thank you, for the video! I think I may stick around.
