I am a Tamilian from Chennai. I really enjoyed this movie. The CGI/VFX is outstanding. Though the first half was a very slow, the second half was exciting...particularly the fight scenes between Ashwathama (played by Amitabh) and Bhairava (played by Prabhas). Tamil movie makers can never make movies like this.
