Nice one. I loved this game growing up (still do). It's nice to see a video of this game with decent resolution, clarity, and framerate. It's also nice to see someone able to counter the "hard hits" like you do instead of only winning because the game is on "easy" and the AI rarely counters.
@UxFxTxBanger Happy New Year ^_^ Sorry, I've been busy with my Traktor S4, lol. To dodge the knock back hits, when you see the enemy preparing for it, press the dpad towards them+x button. So if they're to your left, Left+x, if they're to your right, Right+X. Above you, Up+X. For some odd reason, I can never dodge upward attacks, mainly because they stay right next to you, so your guess is as good as mine on that.
@kickass9111s I haven't looked at this shite in forever, lol. a connect is a combo, which is usually done by pressing forward forward + attack, or quarter circle forward/backward+ attack, which you'd follow up with a knock away hit (foward/up/down+attack), then chase in direction you hit them, rinse and repeat. a hi connect is merely the highest combo you've acheived, once you get past that, you see hi connect again. So if I have a hi connect of 3...the next hi connect is 4 or beyond.
Really this one is one of the best if not the best DBZ game. I played this one for hundreds of hours, not to complete, just because it was extremely fun to play. Easy and very well made game, and the dubing is just awesome.
This game was diffidently ahead of it's time for sure. You could travel FOREVER on most levels kind of. There would be random cities etc etc. It amazes me how they even came up with this game so early.

damn, you did that too? i had an action replay that let me play imported games. thats how i played dbgt final bout and ulti battle 22. i had a spring that held the lid open though and pressed the button in there at the same time
@eduslipknot05 Half circle motion + the attack button. If you do half circle forward, they circle while going up. And if you do a half circle backward, they circle while going down.

they should make a 3d version of this game and have beerus saga and the cooler and bojack and broly saga for editional version for ps3 if they make another version of this game

I'm sure you can figure it out by typing in Dragon ball z legends order online in yahoo or something. you need a regular playstation 1, you need a game covnerter (I think that's what it's called). You also need a original american game. there's a process for it to work.

I'm glad you're able to play the game now, now you can look around for a dbz legends guide to learn how to play. gamefaqz has a decent guide, lastly PSX games are ISO's not roms.
They seriously need to remake this game. I'm not sure why they havne't. hwoever it's quite obvious they got the mechanics from this game for The Tenkaichi serious. However, this game was WAY ahead of it's time!!! It goes by the story of the DBZ serious and it's actually really good

I got to the end and saw Goku just before doing the fusion with Vegeta and I was like: "OH! Now you show up!"
I remember this game back when I was a kid. A friend of mine imported it from Japan, BUT HE NEVER LET ME PLAY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so mad. lol Most of the kids these days probably will never know about this game or anything prior to the tenkaichi series and that's a shame.
this was the best ps1 dragon ball game... but that's not saying much when you compare it to battle 22 and final bout LOL but anyway i loved this game, used to play it non stop
@kairiyamoto the Sparking and Raging Balst games are more or less remakes of this. The combo system and general control layout were superior in this game though. Had this game for a week and fell in love with it. Stolen I think :(

I just want you all to know that you can play this game without an actual playstation; you download a PSX emulator then you search around for the DBZ LEGENDS rom. I have this game on my computer right now and I can play it anytime I want, so don't think you can never play this. PSX Emulator search for the DBZ LEGENDS rom and you're golden I will say though that its kinda hard to understand at first but you always find a guide. I just got my ass whopped by Dabura before this post lol
