The song can be interpreted in two ways, on set, it's Tzuyu telling the guy (other partner) that he still has a chance to 'Run Away' coz if he stays, he will fall deeper in love with her and there will be no escape / parallel to this, it can also pertain to Tzuyu and she is singing this to herself to run away before she falls deeply in love with the guy. (hence the scene where she is the one running/escaping) awesome song, awesome MV!

The flower's red color also defines a protection of the women's body from demons. But on the MV, Tzuyu is seen putting balsam on the guy's nails... so is Tzuyu the demon? Protecting him from her. That's another theory 😁
Tzuyu also explained on TWICE's reaction to her MV that the whole scene takes place in a dream and she was preventing the guy from waking up (if he wakes up, the dream will end and the world they are in will shatter)

Man I actually love this song, it's so addicting and honestly have been listening to the album on repeat so far. 😂 I too, was taken aback since in my eyes, her being the maknae and more of a shy personality from what I remember as a casual fan of TWICE, had me expecting something more "innocent" perhaps? Though I am so glad she took this direction, because when I started first getting more into twice was actually around 'Fancy', when their sound started getting a bit more "mature". So the vibe of everything, from the M/V, the song, the outfits, it all just ticks all the boxes for me. Also of course, she looks AMAZING! 🔥 -- Though I agree with you, while I am a huge fan of more moody, dramatic, girl crush vibes usually as a whole, that might not be the case for the general public. Excited to see your thoughts on the album! 💯
