One thing that SNSD do in songs that not many other groups do, is harmonizing. Which is why their vocal mixes always sound full and grand. If you listen to other groups they tend to sing along together at the same notes and very little adlibs. SNSD don't skimp on vocal performance even on dance songs.

I'm a MAJOR GG fan, so for the questions: The first song i ever listened was Run Devil Run back in 2011, my favorite is Genie, you guys should definetly check out their japanese tracks such as Karma Butterfly and Paparazzi, such bangers I've been a fan of them for years, for the music, their personalities, vocals, their unique and touching friendship, they're literally one of the first super popular kpop girl groups, debuted back in 2007 when the female bands were not much of a thing in kpop, this comeback with Forever 1 is in celebration of their 15th anniversary, they've been doing only solo stuff since 2017 so this is a well welcomed gift for the fans 💖

The thing about a love story that you struggled so much and that in the end, it all worked out. That basically sums up the history of Girls' Generation. All the struggles at the start of their career when the industry is dominated by boy groups. All the negative things they all suffered and in the end, they are the one of main reasons why we now have girl groups here and there. For anyone unfamiliar with SNSD, they are the BLUEPRINT for all K-pop girl groups after them because of how successful they were. JYP made Twice to be their version of SNSD, and YG literally said Blackpink was going to be their version of SNSD as well. Genie and The Great Escape are two of my favorite SNSD songs. All 9 have AMAZING variety presence that all of their names are known domestically (I'm talking about variety show REGULARS not just self-proclaimed funnny idols). TaeTiSo (their main vocal subunit) is one of the most stable vocal lines in K-pop and Hyoyeon is the best K-pop girl group dancer. The group has broken barriers and stereotypes of what it means to be a female idol. All 9 are entertainers in every field.

so to provide you with a brief intro about SNSD: they debuted in 2007 with a song titled Into The New World (which is composed by Kenzie, one of the main OG SM producer, and sampled in FOREVER1's bridge! this song is iconic in a lot of ways, and an example was how Koreans had sung this song in a protest against their university for some unfair policy, also also against their previous president who ended up getting impeached for corruption and abuse of power.). SNSD's last comeback was 5 years ago with their 6th full length album "Holiday Night", an album with 2 title tracks: Holiday & All Night. Their contract with SM entertainment ended not long after that. 5 members chose to stay in SM ent. while the other 3 members went on to sign with other agencies/set up their own work studio. THERE WAS NO OFFICIAL STATEMENT ABOUT A DISBANDMENT, although rumours were flying around just because some members had left SM. at that point in time, when kpop group members left their original agency it usually meant disbandment so it made sense that people thought SNSD had disbanded but no, they reassured fans that they're still THERE. throughout the years each member went on to do their own stuff, be it as solo artists, actresses, musical actress, DJ, models, entertainers etc. They have all been doing very well with their solo careers, with their schedule already quite packed in the first place. However they insisted on giving us fans a COMEBACK on their 15TH ANNIVERSARY, with a FULL LENGTH ALBUM, music show performances and variety show appearances... to celebrate this 15th anniversary with fans, to let fans know that they're still HERE, and will be here FOREVER. the first SNSD song i heard was GEE! it was so popular back then that even my parents who did not know kpop had heard of the song before. (and we're not even koreans) I dont know which particular song of theirs got me into the group but i remember starting to like the group because of Taeyeon. i was a huge otaku/jpop fan back then and somehow i found Taeyeon starring in a musical based on a japanese movie i liked, and ended up checking out her solo music and SNSD's music eventually. not long after i started stanning them, they made a comeback with 'The Boys' and i've been hooked ever since then. SNSD is my very first kpop group I ever got into. I love them. Im definitely an ot9 Stan I still care about all 9 of them equally. Funnily enough my first song I heard from them was paparazzi, one of their Japanese songs lol and my favorite song would have to be a tie between Dear Mom and All My Love Is For You, which is another Japanese song. I definitely got teary eyed listening to this song. It's been so long since they've had a comeback. Not only that they're going on variety shows too!! Then this year was their 15th anniversary, and they came together, notwithstanding the different company they are signed to, and also 4 people out of them having an ongoing drama being recorded at the moment(Yoona, Yuri, Sooyoung, and Seohyun) but they still came together to release an album for their fans🥺😍 And you were right, the scenes were actually showing their solo stuff, Acting, Modeling, DJing amongst others. my first ever song i heard by them was Mr Mr, and they've been on hiatus since 2015 and in 2017 half of them left SM. so yes this is a major and long-awaited reunion. Since 2015 all of them have focused on their own careers as actors / singers/ DJs for example yoona sooyoung seohyun have worked in a lot of popular dramas taeyeon is a very famous vocalist under SM. Tiffany also went to the US and worked on a lot of solo music, yuri has also released solo music and also works in dramas and so does sunny.

They already established they're career as a group, and they are still establishing their work as an individual. The story is, though they're working apart from each other as an individual doing what they love, they are still as one, united, forever one.

Since then, the members all continued with their solo activities and we’re all successful in their own ways. 2018 was a good year for the GG fans because the members who remained in SM formed a subunit called Oh!GG and released a bop called Lil Touch~ and then now in 2022 they finally were able to make a full, 8 member comeback with a full album to celebrate their 15th anniversary 😭😭😭😭😭

I think with girls generation what makes them super special is just the variety of music they have made and how well each and every one of them embodies every comeback. The first song I heard from them was I Got a Boy, but the song that kept me listening was catch me if you can. For me my fave song is into the new world, their debut song. I was at grade school when they debuted, now im in college. One thing that SNSD do in songs that not many other groups do, is harmonizing. Which is why their vocal mixes always sound full and grand. If you listen to other groups they tend to sing along together at the same notes and very little adlibs. SNSD don't skimp on vocal performance even on dance songs.

The thing about a love story that you struggled so much and that in the end, it all worked out. That basically sums up the history of Girls' Generation. All the struggles at the start of their career when the industry is dominated by boy groups. All the negative things they all suffered and in the end, they are the one of main reasons why we now have girl groups here and there. They are basically the idols of the idols today like textbook material. Blueprint for female idol groups. The reason why a female idol should not only be good at singing and dancing but also in variety, acting, languages, hosting, modeling, instruments, songwriting, music production, theater and etc. Most of this stuff has been accomplished by not only one of its members but basically most of them that is why until now even apart they are still relevant in the industry.

For anyone unfamiliar with SNSD, they are the BLUEPRINT for all K-pop girl groups after them because of how successful they were. JYP made Twice to be their version of SNSD, and YG literally said Blackpink was going to be their version of SNSD as well.
Genie and The Great Escape are two of my favorite SNSD songs. All 9 have AMAZING variety presence that all of their names are known domestically (I'm talking about variety show REGULARS not just self-proclaimed funnny idols). TaeTiSo (their main vocal subunit) is one of the most stable vocal lines in K-pop and Hyoyeon is the best K-pop girl group dancer. The group has broken barriers and stereotypes of what it means to be a female idol. All 9 are entertainers in every field.

so to provide you with a brief intro about SNSD: they debuted in 2007 with a song titled Into The New World (which is composed by Kenzie, one of the main OG SM producer, and sampled in FOREVER1's bridge! this song is iconic in a lot of ways, and an example was how Koreans had sung this song in a protest against their university for some unfair policy, also also against their previous president who ended up getting impeached for corruption and abuse of power.).
SNSD's last comeback was 5 years ago with their 6th full length album "Holiday Night", an album with 2 title tracks: Holiday & All Night. Their contract with SM entertainment ended not long after that. 5 members chose to stay in SM ent. while the other 3 members went on to sign with other agencies/set up their own work studio. THERE WAS NO OFFICIAL STATEMENT ABOUT A DISBANDMENT, although rumours were flying around just because some members had left SM. at that point in time, when kpop group members left their original agency it usually meant disbandment so it made sense that people thought SNSD had disbanded but no, they reassured fans that they're still THERE. throughout the years each member went on to do their own stuff, be it as solo artists, actresses, musical actress, DJ, models, entertainers etc. They have all been doing very well with their solo careers, with their schedule already quite packed in the first place. However they insisted on giving us fans a COMEBACK on their 15TH ANNIVERSARY, with a FULL LENGTH ALBUM, music show performances and variety show appearances... to celebrate this 15th anniversary with fans, to let fans know that they're still HERE, and will be here FOREVER. this is why this comeback means a lot to us SONEs. i've been a fan for well over 10 years. they've been with me throughout my high school until now, where i am already an adult with a job. it feels amazing to have an artist you like accompanying you as you go through different phases of life. some SONEs started liking SNSD when they're teenagers/kids and now some are already married with kids. this SNSD comeback is very meaningful to us :')
the first SNSD song i heard was GEE! it was so popular back then that even my parents who did not know kpop had heard of the song before. (and we're not even koreans) I dont know which particular song of theirs got me into the group but i remember starting to like the group because of Taeyeon. i was a huge otaku/jpop fan back then and somehow i found Taeyeon starring in a musical based on a japanese movie i liked, and ended up checking out her solo music and SNSD's music eventually. not long after i started stanning them, they made a comeback with 'The Boys' and i've been hooked ever since then. my first ever song i heard by them was Mr Mr, and they've been on hiatus since 2015 and in 2017 half of them left SM. so yes this is a major and long-awaited reunion. Since 2015 all of them have focused on their own careers as actors / singers/ DJs for example yoona sooyoung seohyun have worked in a lot of popular dramas taeyeon is a very famous vocalist under SM. Tiffany also went to the US and worked on a lot of solo music, yuri has also released solo music and also works in dramas and so does sunny.

In that year Tiffany, Sooyoung and Seohyun left SM.

And after 5 years waiting them to get back together now in August 2022 they finally release an full album comeback, and why title forever 1 because, they've been together for a long time and without disband the same like bigbang, they are meant to each other and they want to be together forever. Also SNSD is the girl group that many idol group look up too, many idol choose SNSD as their role model.
My very first girls generation song was Run Devil Run that song took me by surprise because I had never heard anything like that before at the time. It was crazy because I was searching for new music and I saw a video labeled Hott New Nikki Minaj 2013 video out now. Well it was 2012 at the time so I was like whaaaat let me see. So I clicked on the video and turns out it was actually Girls Generation-Run Devil Run. It wasnt what I expected and I liked it and it led me to a long life of loving K-Pop. That song will forever be in my heart!

They started in 2007. The last time they dropped a full album is in 2017. I started stanning in 2011 with their song The Boys. They're all good vocalists even the dancer line could easily be lead vocalist in other groups. They're super versatile, variety geniuses and all members have great personality. They are entertaining af. They also succesful individually and all are big names in SoKor.

They had their 15th years since debut and came together after 5 years. Even the 3 members that are not under SM anymore are in this comeback, which is why this is such a huge thing. Korea basically named them the nations girl group. They are fr like 2nd gen legends in kpop like bigbang and shinee.

The group achieved what is now almost common place in a time with very little area of exposure. They were not only talented idols, but fantastic at variety and other facets of entertainment. Truly a group that felt like a sisterhood of girls. They were very much authentic in their personalities and looked like they were always enjoying what they were doing. Truly what all girl groups aspire to be.

I think they are also the first girl group that made it very big in the kpop industry during the the boy group era. I remember reading people doubt this girl group idea at first. But they were so succesful and have a lot of fans. Then, they go on to do their own things.
Tell me your wish was the very first song for me back in 2010 after watching the Kdrama You're beautiful where they did a dance parody of that song.
First,a group of soloists, musical artists, actresses, djs, hosts, businesswomen, endorsers, ambasadresses, chefs, authors, etc. to have all these successful individuals in one group is beyond incredible.
Secondly,I'm literally crying watching the MV. Been a sone since 2011 and I’m so happy to see them together again. And also the line distribution and vocals, my god! Girls Generation is the first Kpop group I EVER listened to. I was still in high school, maybe 14 or 15 years old. Their song Gee was trending on UA-cam. I fell in love the moment I watched it. I’ve been a fan of Kpop ever since. Forever a S♥NE

Back in around 2008 when I first got into kpop, they were different bcoz they were 9 girls, but only 8 now, there's a story behind the other member not being a part now. Anyway, they were a lot coz usually before in the early 2000s, mostly are 3-5 members. So they stood out and they had plenty of individual charms which made a huge fan base world wide. :D

What you've seen were the things that they do individually while they're not working as a group, an actress, a soloist, a dj, a model, a musical theater actress, a host, an emcee. They already established they're career as a group, and they are still establishing their work as an individual. The story is, though they're working apart from each other as an individual doing what they love, they are still as one, united, forever one.
90% of their discography could be considered old gems for them. they consistently released amazing music while giving some of the most professional and polished performances of the industry. this came out on their 15th anniversary and it's just a love letter to themselves as a group and as individuals, and to their fans, as well. i just love them so so much. i hope you guys decide to continue reacting to snsd, you won't be disappointed at all

They had their ups and downs but have remained successful since debut 🤭 one member left the group to pursue her own career and the group continued with 8 members. After their 10th anniversary in 2017, 3 members left the company but remained as SNSD. Since then, the members all continued with their solo activities and we’re all successful in their own ways. 2018 was a good year for the GG fans because the members who remained in SM formed a subunit called Oh!GG and released a bop called Lil Touch~ and then now in 2022 they finally were able to make a full, 8 member comeback with a full album to celebrate their 15th anniversary 😭😭😭😭😭

I think with girls generation what makes them super special is just the variety of music they have made and how well each and every one of them embodies every comeback. The first song I heard from them was I Got a Boy, but the song that kept me listening was catch me if you can. Right now I think part of what makes this comeback so amazing is that I never thought it would really happen. I thought SM would pull what they did with Fx and just keep them on hiatus indefinitely, especially since they are al at various companies now
