I find my pair of Geobaskets to be comfortable, however they are slightly small which leads them to be uncomfortable over a long period of time. For my Standard Canvas Ramones, those are so broken in that I could wear them for days and still be comfy. I have a wide forefoot, and the wideness of the Ramone really helps me out.
Interesting topic. Keep in mind that a lot of R.O./DRKSDHW shoes of late share outer soles, and the kind of outer sole can impact the comfort. My Geobasket's share the same sole as the Bozo Sneakers (although the Geobaskets size one up from the Bozo, i.e. a 45 in the former uses the same sole as on the 46 Bozo). I’m curious if any people with Abstracts find the extra outer gives more support/cushioning? The www is rife with people complaining about the comfort of Geobaskets, and I'd agree with them in terms of all-day walking. But who seriously is going to hike in their double-bumpers or Ramones? Also, relating to the Runners, I have the low version and can say they are bar-none the most comfortable slip-on shoes I've ever owned. Maybe the low cut work better than the mid/high socks? Keep up the great work on the channel.
No unfortunately the abstracts don’t, although I feel they aren’t as bad broken in they’re no where near as comfortable as my Geos, I have sz 42 in abstracts and 41.5 and 42 in Geos
I appreciate your videos a ton, I've been planning on purchasing my first pair of rick owens shoes and these are helping me a ton on deciding which pair I should buy.
do you have any Kiss boots? id love to see a review on them by you because the very few amounts of reviews out there on them arent very good but you do a good job of explaining things
Thank you! I love the look of kiss boots on other people, for my personally. It wouldn't be something I wear (with the mindset I have currently) maybe in the future? Who knows!
I got mine and wore them into the city and had to double sock to prevent blisters and overall they were fucking killing me. Had to buy insoles and I have to test how they are now.
I wore my new geobaskets and instantly got blisters and overtime me feet were killing me. Had to by insoles and ankle grippers so they don't get destroyed.
@@roydevriess I'm a true 9.5 and from what I've heard these run big so I bought a 43 (would've payed like 200 more on farfetxh for the 43.3) and they're not tight but they slightly hug my feet. My feet are slightly wide but i mainly wear 10.5 in sneakers and 9.5 on my work boots.
I think its definitely the size thats hurting you. I have worn mine for days, walking throughout Amsterdam for the entire day .. no matter. Always an easy shoe with no hassle or pain
@@weluvcade yes Im talking about those. They feel hugging around your feet. But the shoe function sucks. The wide top part and thinner sole. Your foot is wider than the sole below, is what it feels like. The balance when walking even slightly angled is terrible. For me personally, its just not worth the risk, specially for the price that you pay.. thats why I would recommend something else. The adidas island soles after that do feel more stable.
@@roydevriesswas watching through your videos because I was interested in getting mainline ramones or geobaskets and saw this comment. I ended up getting the maximal tractor shoes, and they're my favorite shoe I've ever owned. They fit so great, are very comfy and padded. The only bad parts is that they are pretty heavy, and they have a squeaky sound but is easily fixxed by putting some leather conditioner between the part where the tongue rubs against the inside of the shoe. other than that, they're amazing, now I'm trying to figure out if i should get mainline ramones or geobaskets lol

What size did you get in the ramones? TTS or did you size up/down?
@@dubzy21 for geo my tts is 42 but I sized down to 41, perfectly fit for me

I have clear abstracts and they don't really feel cushiony... they're quite heavy and it makes it uncomfortable for me... oh well I like how they look
I love my abstract ramones. It took awhile to break them in though. Just standing straight waiting in line was horrible at first.
They're pretty heavy, aren't they?
I appreciate your videos a ton, I've been planning on purchasing my first pair of rick owens shoes and these are helping me a ton on deciding which pair I should buy.
Thats awesome to hear. What are you currently looking into? Perhaps I can tell you a little more
Based on my owens experience, only beetle bozo tractor boots are good for long distance walking.
I love ramones, but I have to replace insoles.
Newer model ramones are super comfy, can wear my Ss 2020 mainline all day and feel great!
@@michaelmyers9218 I really hope they can produce more comfortable knee high sock sneakers.
Imagine paying $1000 for poor insoles 😂

man!! love all of your shoes!! nice video
At least for me the Geobaskets are quite uncomfortable, not so much that they’re not worth it, but for longer walks they start to hurt

How do you clean your shoes? They all look reeeeeally clean!
Cold water and neutral soap. Toothbrush, piggy hair brush and cleaning cloths.

what do you think of the maximal runners? was planning on getting a pair but didn't know how the sizing is.
the ones at 2:00
From all the shoes I got, I would recommend those the least. The structure of the sole is, imo, a little dangerous.

To be honest for luxury shoes, I find Ricks kind of comfy, maybe my feet are messed up.
