- In this video I finally hook up the AMR500 Supercharger to the pressure hats on the Weber Carbs, and connect all the gauges, valves and regulators.
The supercharger works and makes 5-10 lbs of boost. Havent driven it yet - awaiting a wideband AF ratio gauge.

Yeah - it runs now, and I am almost ready for the test drive, but I need to run it a few more times in the garage and monitor the fuel pressure boost reference, and the boost levels. I am a bit afraid of burning out valves, or messing up something because I didn’t check with a wideband air/fuel sensor. So I will get that on Thursday….
Never seen one fit under the decklid that well. Total sleeper 👍
yeah - the question is whether it will add any value - and also whether the noise is too annoying to justify it. It was interesting to do the project, and I am awaiting my wideband AF sensor to drive it. This 1968cc motor is really nice and it would be a shame to mess it up with an AMR500....

I have it running well - the AF is 12.3 when revving, and it descends, so i think it is safe to drive. But I am having trouble adjusting the idle to be smooth and reliable...

I am afraid to drive it until I check the fuel air mix at idle and revving. It is also a little too loud for my taste, so not sure this will stay supercharged…. But it will be interesting to measure AF and then test the acceleration….
