as a filipino living in the philippines, i should've known that the majority of your struggles happened in our airport 😭 if its any comfort, its definitely not the best experience even for us here
We had our flight delayed 3 times at weird ass intervals short enough for us to think "oh we can just wait", but in total we were in the airport for 9 hours. That was an amazingly bad experience.
Huge W. Last time I took a 15 hour flight, I was serenaded by the inane arguments and questions of two small children who were watching the same episode of Paw Patrol for the entire flight. No, they did not know the concept of an indoor voice. They fell asleep 20 minutes before the plane landed and then cried loudly the entire time their parents dragged them off the plane.
i swear i could listen to a podcast made by you for hours- it could literally be you talking about anything in the world and i would still listen. i would never go back to the philippines by myself fshjfkhsd but i'm happy you survived
When we need you, you returned. I didn't know that you were Filipino but it's kinda cool seeing other Filipino creators that I like (I'm half Filipino btw) Filipino Gang represent!
Question, as someone who's a hapa (half Asian half white, but east asian) I was wondering how someone looks Filipino or not? Cause while I could see she looked a little mixed, I thought she was Filipino. Is it the eyes?? What is it?? Lol

I've took a flight 4 times in my life and going my 5th time this year, and someone's who's only been on for 3 hours...15 hours has to be the most uncomfortable thing I've ever heard, imagine going on a roller coaster but the ride lasts an entire day, how would that feel?
It’s really only a roller coaster in the beginning and the end. Little bumps in-between. The worst is just not be able to move around as well. I would se people just lay on the floor to stretch for a minute. Me personally as a 6ft 2 person, I need to move every two hours.
What did I do to prompt the algorithm to send this beautiful, hilarious, whip-smart young lady and her amazing performance video to my attention this fine evening?! My weekend is made! I’m SUBSCRIBING!!
Same thing happened to me in a way but on my way back to the states. I was 18 at the time. I have family in France. When I was heading home, I asked the lady at the luggage check exactly where to go and what to do. I was told that I would pick up my luggage at the carousel and that it would NOT transfer to my layover flight. Whelp, it did transfer without me needing to grab it, and so I waited and missed my flight. I had to stay in the Chicago airport overnight til I got a new flight back to AZ. Fun times.
BIG UPS for doing your first trip to the phils solo! The smell and heat/humidity slaps you in the face when you step off the plane before it finally embraces you. Hope you had a good time
LOL I felt this trip so hard, just took a solo trip to Czech Republic, and I couldn't stop my anxiety from getting the best of me at all times, for every little thing.
9:10 Actually my mom has scoliosis and she's been having trouble breathing lately, We didn't think it had anything to do with her condition. now we do. Thanks aisha really
Glad to see you back Aisha, I always check the channel every once in a while just to remember your vids. I'm sure college has been a new experience for ya, keep surviving!
Longest flight I've been on is 5 hours, couldn't imagine being on a plane for 3 times that. I also understand your struggle, I have neck problems from a car accident, that when on a long flight definitely take a toll on me.
Brilliant video, thank you for sharing!! I’m so sorry for your experience tho 😭 I would have reacted the same way, but I’m so glad it ended up working out
I recently traveled to the Philippines to visit friends in January with my friend. First time flying a plane for both of us! Sagada and Tagaytay were very pretty. However, the flight from the Philippines was pure misery. I was awake for over 40 hours and had 5 stop overs. I started hallucinating while in Hawaii. Anyway, if yall visit the Philippines be sure to have someone meet you there or something cause otherwise watch out for scammers. Including their customs agents lol.
@BMO na By the time I had gotten on the plane to leave the country, I'd been up for around 18 hours or so because it was a night flight (12 am in the morning). So that added to it considerably.
10:34 I literally do that half the time I drive 😂😂. I’ve been talking to myself when I’m alone basically my whole life so I’m glad I’m not the only one.
i’m gonna fly to the philippines from the US for the first time since i was 2 on the 16th (born in the US, visited in 2005, came back with lots of mosquito bites that my dad didn’t recognize me when i got back). i’m quite nervous about how smooth everything will go, but watching this kind of calmed my nerves a little bit. also, i’m going with my family so that makes it a lot easier for me >.
Funnily enough, never heard of or interacted with this channel before but this video was recommended to me about two weeks before taking my first ever international flight by myself. At least I got some prior experience though, lol.
A friend / acquaintance also had his small boat (dinghy) (skiff) (dory) unexpectedly drift out to sea also: [btw, this really did happen] which can be VERY scary, ketchup or no-- and some party people in a party boat luckily motored by. But the motor was too loud for the party-ers to hear his hollers for help. They gave him the ‘rock-n-roll fingers’ 🤟 and held up their beers, kinda like doing “cheers” at a distance. They motored past him a bunch of times doing their “party-on !!” salute, & I don’t think they helped him at all… 😢. Heinz ketchup did not help Brad. I think a sailboat (much more quiet) eventually came close enough to hear his calls for help.
ur experience is so so similar to my first ever, never haven ridden a plane before, solo trip from london to chicago to la and then la to london last summer i swearrrr i wouldn’t wish any part of it (the tears at the gate, the HUNGER, no money, sitting in economy for 10+ hrs, walking around pretending im not lost, didn’t wanna ask any workers anything, no wifi, the LA heat) on ANYONE
I’VE MISSED YOU OMGGGG!! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS AND I LAUGHED SO MUCH ON THIS ONE, YOU’RE SO AMAZING AND RELATEABLE! (oops sorry for caps) i also have scoliosis and i was on a 5 hour flight a few months ago and omgggg 😭 WE LOVE YOU AISHA

long flights are not exciting enough to be compared to a rollercoaster unless the plane's coming down, your just cruising and tired
