Wei Ying, the most selfless social butterfly with a master brain and sincere innocent love towards Wangji and to his family. No matter how other people doubted and tried to frame Wei Ying, Wangji was the only person who completely understood his heart. This series just tops my list in asian dramas.

Just because you like or love someone and they are special to you, that does not mean you always take their side. Don't be afraid to defend someone and take their side or tell that person they are wrong. Lan Zhan did a great job at being more mature than the elders and defending Wei Ying when he knows Wei Ying is innocent.
