Thanks for the upload guys! As for that machine if you ever get back there I think if you have them load the lightest prizes in the machine you’re gonna win them a lot faster because it won’t pull down on the ball for as much friction and will probably fling further as well
The reason that the ball moves less as it gets farther down is because the weight of the prize is always pulling it down. At first, the ball is able to slide along the tops of the poles because the gap is small enough. When the gap gets wider, the ball is pulled down and gets wedged between the poles, and the increase of friction makes it harder to move the ball fowards. It's a genius design which makes people believe that this machine is easy to win because it's easy to make progress at first, but the farther you get, the less the ball will move.
