Neither my mom nor my grandma told me I'm beautiful - they didn't want me to grow a 'huge head' 😉. I told an old communist and Putin's admirer in Canada to listen to Vlad. He didn't fall for 'beautiful people' and was' hilarious' by saying: "Putin never said this and that!!! Vlad is a lier!!!" So, I told him that he's a FSB agent & useful for Putin idiot, had been spreading Kremlin's lies for big money. I rendered him speachless. 😁

Careful with that assessment. It's been a while, but do you still remember how Russia before Putin looked like? The common people were robbed blind by the oligarchs. And because of the way he is leading the country it is not a far stretch to believe that without him the country will deteriorate into that state again.

Putin is sounding and behaving more and more like a Mafia boss. He will say anything to ensure those around him are wrong footed and insecure. He will never say anything that will enable a reasoned argument against him. Ultimately it is all window dressing while behind the scenes he threatens, kills, steals and amasses wealth. he is now in a race against time, his only claim to power is his utter ruthlessness and cruelty, and we know from history that there is always someone younger, stronger and more ruthless biding their time. Putin's skill set is shared with every gangster and crime boss, it is not special. He utterly lacks the special skills of a leader: creating wealth for all, creating jobs, building bridges to other nations.

Ding ding! I classify the system he created as cleptocracy. But when you steal everything you can inside the country, and all the other bosses who threaten you are signed out of the census, the world is ripe to eat. This should be a cautionary tale for the future. Western leaders were turning their heads away from the crimes against the Russian people, until their necks turned into corkscrews. They let the leech feed, and the monster spawned.

Two pieces of information (not related to Vlad's video) for those who might not know. 1) Russia has announced a ban on the export of all gasoline for the next 6 months (this follows an earlier 3 month ban in the latter stages of last year). The official reason given is planned maintenance of the oil refineries and to ensure sufficient supplies for Russian consumers and agriculture. The real reason is partly that Ukraine has been hitting refineries (thus reducing production) and partly that sanctions are causing problems with technical know-how, repairs and parts (thus also reducing production). 2) Russia has now lost 13 planes in the last 11 days. This includes a 2nd AWACS, which in turn feeds into why Russia is losing more of other types of planes, because there is no longer as much tracking and warning about Ukrainian air-defense missiles.

    • @QnA22

Just to put it in numbers, Russia experts about 4% of the world finished oil products. Not tiny, but def not game changing. Crude oil export will continue. About 10% of the world volume. Also, some countries are excluded like Mongolia, but also occupied lands with Georgia for example.

Vlad, it would be great if you talk about the Russian porn industry. Porn is one of the main foundations of Russian economy, especially domestic economy. I have never understood why the West has never sanctioned the Russian porn industry, it would make the whole country tremble if they do so. And it is not just an economical thing, in Russia porn, both profesional and amateur-domestic is a massive social phenomena, and a very complex issue.

You're right in your analysis but unfortunately, the forces of Chaos are currently winning and gaining ground. Sure the losses are high but Putin has a ton of native and foreign meat to throw at the problem. And apparently, it works.

Great! But with the one where soldiers should go back and get into teaching positions, I had an interpretation more along the lines of, 'and don't think we don't already have a generation of babies ready for war. If you're worried about the current indoctrination going on in schools, we can switch up the training at any time, with battle-hardened mofos'.

heres a book that might be useful in this community Eidelson "Doing Harm" about the compliance of the American Psychological Association with developing and excusing torture at Guatamino Bay for Baby Bushes war on terror.
Yes oh yes the USA is an Empire , an Empire regrouping strengthening in maybe a much more unpleasant form than it often had. And it certainly does things as evil as murdering Navalny or keeping arctic prison camps. And citizens certainly have less protection than they once had. Still it is better than China and Russia.
Canadians do not have a choice about being part of this Empire while still trying to stay safe and free and preserve autonomy in a system far more dangerous than the late lamented British Empire which i greatly prefered and trusted more. And Australia and Japan dont have a choice either BUT EUROPE HAS A CHOICE! All it has to do is create a competent military and it can do what it likes , fight Russia or outlaw torture or lunatic wars on imaginary terror. We have to dine with the devil and use a long spoon.

An old empire not coming to terms with the fact it is no longer a top power combined with grievances against the West for getting involved economically in the 90's and with all the hardships that were caused by the transition from communism. Up pops a guy who came to prominence during those gangster ridden 90's with a cold war mentality and here we are with him proclaiming totaler Krieg as his political manifesto. I remember seeing the posters in Russia in March 2000 for that first 'election' of this guy and surprise surprise Russia was at war. I also saw large groups of people freely protesting against that war. It seems now Russian people need to be aware there very existence and purpose is war because even if the West stops tomorrow supporting Ukraine it is unwinnable. The war has damaged his military so much he does not have the resources for an occupation. You make a deal with the Devil for a peninsula in the Black Sea which the majority of Russians did, then the Devil will come back for payment on the contract and here he is spelling it out.
