Love having the What and Why in the entire bag! And I couldn't figure out why I love the Ian Mac combo but finally realized it's feels and data but both know how important each other is

Love what you say about consistency in the wood shafts! I’ve always struggled with 3 wood and loved driver but since switching to same shaft in both I find the seamless transition so easy
I love these kinds of videos. Ian and the TXG gang are the most interesting of celebs to do WITB. Their commentary around their selection is the absolute best.

What really cool is learning what non club things are in your bag… I imagine you get to try all the cool accessories that come in the shop. Love the training aid compared to the speed sticks.

I love TXG. Love the new dynamic of Ian with Mikey and RB plus Mac but can’t help to miss Matt with Ian combo. Hope the best for both channels and watch each

Love to see people mixing different brands and models of irons into sets. I have 4 different models between 3 and 9 iron myself.
Love this. Another great WITB with top notch editing and close ups. Great questions and input from the Slinger MC right hand man.
Would be a great idea, imho, to do a shot tracer witb with distances for each iron after a little chat for each one. A bit like Erik Anders Lang did on the most recent WITB for his Random Golf Club UA-cam channel.
Just an idea 🤷🏼♀️. People seem to love his video.
Another option is to make the gloss edges matte. I took some 5k grit automotive sand paper and buffed the gloss out. It’s perfect!!
Love to see the P760's in the bag! I've had them for a few seasons now since they came out and have no plans on getting rid of em! Cheers, enjoy the season!

If we had access to the best club fitting machinery, were one of the world's premier club fitters, and tour level access to any equipment in the world at your fingertips, then goodness knows there would be a lot of changing/tinkering going on....😀

With access to everything Ian has access to, maybe even better access than tour players because he has similar connections and everything @ his fingertips daily in the shop, perhaps we would only be changing once a year or so...
You would have the ability to test anything and everything as soon as or even before it hit the market. you could take weeks or months hitting it daily on the simulator with every Trackman number you need to make up your mind.
Then, when you finally put together your bag, you would know without a doubt you've got what works optimally for you and left no Stones Unturned in the search for the gear that suits your game perfectly....
I think I'd be pretty confident... Until I had a one bad round that is...😂
100% to all of that @jackman13. For a week you have the magic bag for your season and then one lesson from Cowx and your whole concept of what’s possible for your game changes so your bag does too. Lol! Plus he probably loves fitting so much he just can’t help it.
I had a set of Fourteen TB 1000's that I bought used. Of all the clubs I regret selling - that set is the one I wish I still had. They make great irons
great bag set up! ofc we expect nothing less.
Similar on the feel side with the woods. Have for a long time played the same shaft bend profile in Driver & Fairways just heavier in the fairways. Played Diamana Blue Board for over 10 years. Tensai Orange in Driver; 5w & 7w these days! Also interesting my longest iron is a 6iron….moving to hybrid between the 7w.

Funny enough I play a p760 4 iron, 22 bent to 24°, as my 5 iron. Reduces the offset, minimally obviously, with a little more bounce. Lovely club.
Ian, interested in your decision to eventually switch to PW,47,52,57,62 considering you are someone who is comfortable with partial shots and that Vokey offers the D grind in 54. Would that extra degree make a PW,48F,54D,60 infeasible? I’m struggling myself with deciding between a 3 and 4 wedge setup so I’m interested in the thought process behind the 5 wedge setup.

Those Fourteen irons have the classic Fourteen feel? Fourteen forgings were always my favorite in feel, even more so than Miuras. Such a soft, marshmallow-y feel. I remember the FH1000's that felt amazing but didn't have great distance.

I love this content i really do. I Would love to see some swings and different types of ballflights you would like to hit as well as an example.

And the footjoy pure touch for me is the best fitting glove every time. Dicks sporting goods used to offer insurance on them for 3 bucks. Would wear them out and get my money back.
Ian - good luck getting on Cypruss, Pine Valley, and Augusta. I wasted my chance to get on Augusta (used to have a way to, never took advantage, now that opportunity is gone). I tried PV and it's not happened for me yet. I did TOC in May and that was awesome with the stands up etc.

I got fit by Mikey and one of the things I didn't buy that he fit me for was a stealth hybrid. The only reason I didn't buy is cuz I had something like $150 at my local store as a rebate just got it freaking love it!
Bought the stealth, ended up with a 4 hybrid even tho got fit for a 3. My swing has changed a bit and when I was fit I wasn't quite swinging it as well. It fits perfectly between my 4-iron and five wood. Have absolutely loved the four hybrid stealth!

I would love some. Still expensive even in second hand market here. I bagged myself a £40 "4 iron", bent it 2 degrees weak to 24° to play as my 5 iron and longest steel shaft. So soft.
Very interesting, I was fit for a stealth and found it was the wildest off the tee. Ended up with a ping LST. So straight and 75 gram aldilla green x stiff.
These guys are literally the only people I've ever heard say the Stealth was forgiving. Pretty common knowledge that there isn't a more forgiving driver out there right now than the 425.

Eagle empire makes a very nice feeling glove but I recently switched to grip Master roo leather grips and love them don't even need to wear a glove anymore I also play best grips leather grips and love them also any thoughts on leather grips ian?

The stealth is so much more consistent than sim2 for me. I feel like my big right miss just kind of straightens out. I just love this driver. Playing it on ventus TR and I’ve never had a better setup

As far as peak height with wedges, does the D grind fly lower than a S grind due to more bounce and a thicker sole? Then for the same reason, does the S fly lower than an M? I feel like the S flies the highest when I hit them though. Your thoughts?

Ian sporting the Oakmont head covers....niceee. That said, all this talk about the 7-wood and you have a hybrid and thinking about a 5-wood..what the? Now, send me those Muria you are not using....no such irons should be collecting dust :P. I also notice multiple different grips on your woods vs irons & wedges...interesting. Lastly, do your driver grips have the embedded Arccos sensors? With respect to the "Holy Trinity" we can all dream a little dream; I hope it happens so you can tell us all about it.

I love the grove it brush but unfortunately mine fell off my bag. Was playing my fourth round with it, first one in a cart, and the magnet didn’t hold. I was so disappointed
Did you message the Groove it Brush team to let them know? The magnet on the new brush is significantly stronger.

Curious, what kind of scores do you shoot Ian?
Damn you guys are in pullovers and it's 100 here. Is TPT similar to Accra dymatch. Trunk slammer....that's when you you shoot 66 in a Monday and don't get in. You put the bag half way in and take the trunk and beat the shit out of the bag with it! 😂
It would be incredible if we can see Ian hit every single one of his club to show his yardages as well.
@Ian Fraser any reason why you play a different grip on your woods compared to your irons ?
I think like myself, Ian has a bit of OCD and likes things to match when possible. His wood grips / shafts / heads all have matching colors. Irons have steel shafts and same color heads so different grips can be used.
if you want to score better hit your drives long but hit your irons short or u can buy the 25 degree 7 iron

you know you can stripe the paint off a ball when your early season go to club is a 3 iron!
I'm not a big fan of the Stealth but it has seemed to be very spin consistent. Not the absolute fastest out there but as good as any in speed. I think the stock version looks cheap, like it belongs in a package set.
I'm talking about the paint work on the crown.
Looks are in the eye of beholder, I like to see something as simple as possible at address with the driver, so Stealth ought not be for me. Yet when I tried it within 3 shots I didn't even notice the red face. Performance was terrific, not the longest possibly but for me it felt as though I was on autopilot
Personally the stealth (plus) is the nicest looking driver I've ever swung, at least to my eye. Looks are different for everyone it seems.
I do really like the shape of the Stealth plus.
What Nike shoes has Mac got on?
Ian you said in a video a couple of weeks ago you were strictly GFore shoes but those don't looked like GFore
stealth looks way better all blacked out than it does red, makes it more relevant to the whole carbon thing too
