Feeling good shopping … I get the fuzzy from watching this… no blaming for scamming… just good transaction… thanks
Everyone in puok was so nice. I had the best time on my weekend there. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
That Red Queen shirt with the aqua blue shorts would rock...
I have worn that exact combo around town. It rocks. Haha
Can't beat that price, Sean! I'm sure they don't make much profit. Plus, if those stuff lasts a couple years, they are still worth it.
I thought the prices were more than fair, so I was happy to pay what they asked for. The quality is definitely there and if I get a few years out of all of it, then that is a win for sure.
Great deals for you and the vendors were very happy to get the sells… win win…
I think we were all happy with the transactions. It was such a great day.
Nice neighborhood market… you can survive in the small town when you get the Queen T-shirt , 4 shorts and a man bag for $17 smackarus…
I thought it was a great deal and I haven't seen a trailer park here yet that I can be the queen of. I'll just have to wait a bit more. Haha
The hot sun is brutal on fake leather ( easy peeling)… you did good for $17 bucks frugal style…
I found out that I was wrong about it being fake leather. The bag is actually leather, so it was a much better deal than I originally thought. Yay.
@@FrugalWanderer very nice deal for real leather…
Great bargains on the shorts and Ts as Queen of Trailer P…
Best deals I've had in a while. I love the shirt so much. It's honestly so comfortable. Haha
Brave man wearing denim in this heat. I haven't been able to wear denim in a decade, too hot and heavy material for me. Love the look but can't tolerate the feel of it these days
I never claimed to be the brightest bulb on the Christmas Tree. Haha. They are definitely warmer than I thought they wold be, but I don;'t mind. I just wear them on days that I know I will only be taking short walks and not marathons. Haha
Hey I am size 34 too.. LOL! That lady was so patient and sweet... great find buddy! Nothing beats the 'Queen Of The Trailer Park' shirt though.. EPIC!
She was amazing and there was no way that I wasn't going to buy things from her. It's that touch of customer service that means the world to me. Plus she was joking around with me. I had the best shopping experience thanks to her.
@@FrugalWanderer yup I am the same as well
Hmm most sellers do have a measurement tape because all the confusions with sizes.
You have asian size- european size -u.k size -american /canadian size and often are the really mixed up both in clothes and shoes.
Most sellerknow of where there are a cheap market seamstress that can adjust sizes to perfect for pennys.
Well that's the system in Thailand Lao and Vietnam, myanmar and indonesia so i presume it's the same in Cambodia ;)
So the myth that "there are no clothes for westerners" are now pretty...mythbusted =)
The sizes are a bit different for sure. The shorts were all 35 inch waist, but considerably smaller than the 36 from Canada. I still need to lose a little more to fit comfortably into them. I bought some shorts here in Phnom Penh last night at a market and they were size 36. They fit perfectly. So I guess I'm still a 36 after all. Haha.
Yeah. The myth about not having western sizes in Cambodia is just a myth. It's busted completely for me. Haha
@@FrugalWanderer that why i often laugh alittle at vloggers that travel with a BIG suitcase or backpack full with expensive clothes purchased in west..most are "made in "asia" anyway and dirt cheap to buy local at markets or online..
Longer u stay in a country in se-asia cheaper it gets with clothes food things internet living etc
I agree. I didn't bring a ton of clothes with me, but the quality of the clothing I've gotten here is way better than what I got back home. So it's cheaper and better quality. Yeah. I made the right decision to move over here. Haha
Sean, You got a very sense of humor that definitely going to make you happier and live longer.
Laughter has always been a part of my life and I grew up surrounded by folks with a great sense of humour. I realized young that the people who laughed the most stayed alive the longest. I try to emulate that in myself everyday.
@@FrugalWandereryour probably was an cambodian in your past life because cambodians are always cracking jokes and making the best of a situation. jokes/dry humor are our 2nd language lol😅
I think Canadians and Cambodians have that in common. We are always cracking jokes back home. It's like we either have to laugh or cry with life, and we choose to laugh. I prefer it to be honest. Haha
It was fun watching you interacting with the locals. Good video
I enjoy interacting with them too. I don't always break out of my shell, but when I do, I usually have a great time.
$17 for all those stuff… you stole them …
It kind of feels like I did, but it's what they asked for, so I guess they stole from themselves. Haha
if he learn little basic cambodian it will be even cheaper ..so give sean 1 year in cambodia and he really gonna shop cheap to almost localprices =)
Talk about frugal. Haha
Fun video 😂
Thank you. I enjoyed it myself.
Sir Frugal - a tip - never buy and wear polyester clothing in a hot country - makes you sweat like a waterfall 👌
It doesn't seem to matter what I wear. I sweat all the time no matter what. Haha
Hello Sean they don't have in seim reap clothes??
They absolutely do, but I destroyed a pair of shorts while I was away. I decided to see about getting some new shirts at the local market. I didn't think I would have any luck, but I ended up having better luck than I expected. It was a lot of fun too.
