Wait lol, 1:11 How did you place chests and a post on land that isn't designated as yours yet? I have to eyeball and set a plot first before laying anything on the ground. Where did you settle - region / location?
You are correct: you have to set the plot first, set the post in place, release the plot, when in 'Place Plot' mode position the cursor on the top of the post, the place it again. I did all those things prior to doing this video -- ua-cam.com/video/Juj4RF3U1kg/v-deo.html We are in Langres, Inis Gallia, Apollo; from the Petra Dei, look due East across the lake; we are on the highest cliff.
The game itself is very highly optimized. I'm surprised that is your experience...while I have a high-performance machine, with all graphics setting optimized, there may be something I am missing. I am always open to how the videos can be improved.
OK. You talk about height and making it go up a little so its above ground, but you don't say how you do that. You say "up a couple clicks". Click what? I tried rolling the mouse wheel, up/down arrows, pgup/pgdn. HOW???
I am not sure how that comment relates to the video itself, but am glad you submitted it. Those who do enjoy true "sandbox" games and the social aspect of MMOs seem to like it very much. Others may find other games more their style.
"Minecraft with different graphics"? As one who administers a Minecraft server and played for years, I find that comment to be ignorant of the great differences between the two, and what makes Pax Dei such a technological wonder. For a game in Early Access, the developers have been very methodical an establishing first a highly extensive, reliable and resilient foundation for content and features yet to be released. Games like Minecraft support a comparatively small number of players on a single machine. The game server must be strictly maintained and limited to ensure playability. Pax Dei is running on a large number of highly cohesive servers, each managing specific responsibilities, with the ability to quickly introduce additional servers when necessary without interruption of game play. And that is just the infrastructure. The developers have established a solid path of release for themselves, and while delivering on it they are adjusting to address issues submitted directly to them from the community. Rather than knee-jerk implementation of content and mechanics based on unreasonable and demands made by short-sighted players and "experts", the consider well the consequences of decisions made. I personally have never played and enjoyed a game better delivered to the gaming community that Pax Dei. I have yet to hear anyone give a sound and reasonable explanation for flippant comments and descriptions like "Minecraft with different graphics". While I want those who visit and subscribe to our channel to feel free to comment, I expect they are just as willing to hear sound rebuttal, and for those who read comments left, I encourage you to always consider all viewpoints; keep in mind why the author may hold them; then ensure you have sound and defensible reasoning for statements you support and share. As always, more than anything else, remember gaming is a hobby -- be sure to HAVE FUN!

GEN X for the win😊
@jenthomas7670
Had fun doing this. I'm surprised it is still popular. Nice to have you along.
Big Bob Ross vibes here.
Hehe...love it.
Love your work. Question. How did you unlock the stone pillar?
Glad you enjoy our videos! I believe the stone pillar unlocks at level 8 ( paxdei.gaming.tools/recipes/recipe_building_piece_pillar_foundation )
Why does it look like it's 10fps? I'm thinking about buying the game but if it's so poorly optimized maybe I should give up..

Oh, I must have failed to say " + scrollwheel" Sorry about that.
Scrollwheel alone rotates; + scrollwheel elevates.
This game will be nothing but a pump dump game like gloria victis, life is feudal etc.

@twooldguyz because the game is a joke. Your right it's a sandbox and empty one. Minecraft with different graphics.
